Good conversation. I like learning about things this way because you get to hear real life issues this man went through and in a normal question and answer situation none of this info. would have been relevant so no one gets to learn about those little things. If that makes sense;} Thanks!

in my soil, with the 2020, i found that the coulter would take some weight off of the openers, preventing me from obtaining proper depth of seed in hay ground and some corn on corn, thats with a HEAVY 1750 conservation deere with HD springs...3.5mm openers need to be maintained a bit more, however keeping your seed slot in check should be priority anyway. also, upon removal of those 13 wave coulters, i was throwing less soil out of the row, i can get on wetter soil and keep from drying the slot.

My understanding is there is no virgin soil where he's farming, the topsoil blew away a long time ago, most Farmers these days are farming in the subsoil
