I still remember watching this episode with my dad, all those decades ago. I'll never forget how hard he laughed at this whole scene.

Indeed. Especially if it also had a gun rack, 6 toilet paper dispensers, a stripper pole, some babes and a pizza bar. He'd also approve of The Man's Bedroom, if it came with the same features and a big screen TV to watch the Bears play.

comedyloverism obviously man if you got about 20,000 or $30,000 you can make something like this but you know is it worth it. I would do this only if I had a house that was paid off no problems have 100,000 in the bank and I don't have to worry about it of course that would be amazing

@@texasforever5776 I feel like this was kinda the evolution of Tim Taylor, still has elements of him, just more sophisticated. Kinda too bad in a way he didn't pull a Frasier Crane and reboot the character in the new setting, it'd have fit him lol.

They'll make it PC & gender correct and all that crap. Some Helen butch that played tackle with a deeper voice than you will be called "Timosa". No thanks. I'd rather watch reruns.

Hmmm I seem to remember one that had a toilet Tim called something like "The Flush master 5000" that had a gas powered weedeater motor with a modified woodchipper to ensure nothing a man can throw at it will ever clog it.

The thing is: spend TOO much time on the toilet, you risk getting {or, in MY case worsening } hemorrhoids. Mine got SO bad one morning, I called 911. It was a BIT embarrassing, but I was in a LOT of pain. I have had to take MANY ambulance rides because of various heart/lung issues, but this was the first time that the attendant working on me called to the driver, "PULL OVER!" The driver found a safe place to pull over and came to help. My pain was SO bad, my blood pressure had skyrocketed! One called the hospital to ask what to do. Fortunately, they were close enough the doctors said "Bring him in. We'll take care of it." When the doctor had me roll on my side, and looked, he said something you really don't want to hear from ANY doctor. "That's the biggest one I've ever seen!" I felt vindicated in myself for calling 911. I knew now that I did the right thing. So, you do NOT want to spend a lot of time on the toilet!

Yea, most sitcoms are a lost cause today. I watch Tim's new show 'Last Man Standing' but it's nothing compared to Home Improvement.

It's not nothing. I'd say it's a miniature improvement. There's a lot of references to Tim Allen's movies in Last Man Standing, including, but not limited to, The Santa Clause, Toy Story, Galaxy Quest and even Home Improvement itself.

I think the only odd error here is that the LazeBowl toilet still has a seat cover that wouldn’t sit naturally if lifted. And if it’s a bathroom exclusively for men, is there any good reason to shut the lid?

Tim was a good guy but his know it all masculinity definitely irks my last good nerve. Years on the air and his character never really evolved into a man who wasn’t a screw up at everyone else’s expense.
