@@Eggrollofdoom WOW! Is there anything that can be done about it? What is worse about that area? Is it because perhaps it's less housing and more surrounded by the rocks and desert, I'm guessing? Sheesh, what a nightmare if you were outside trying to enjoy the pool area and you saw a scorpion. Yeah, that'd def make me wanna sell the place!!! Thanks for sharing the insight!

Nice home but there are way too many customizations to the previous owner's tastes to even justify the price they are asking. So unless you have the exact same tastes and style that they have, you'll have a lot of painting and wallpaper removal to do. I love the backyard pool area though. It's awesome.

Big house is not easy to keep up, even when you hire full time mates. I lived and owned a home in San Diego near the ocean. The ocean lifestyle maybe nice but you don’t want to park your vehicles or anything that can rust. I now live on the outskirts of San Diego with only 2700 square feet with 15 acres land that I can grow my foods and plenty of room to roam around. My children loves being outdoors.

could you put a little solar farm on the "extra" land? think that would help with the power cost of all the pumps and lights and mini fridges. and would help out when any power problems in the area.

If I was to do that, I think the land would be good for a battery hut. The building could contain lead acid batteries. It is high enough that hydrogen gas would be super ventilated. Who know how long it would take to get all those batteries charged up. But then you could have your own off grid power in event of power problems. If I was to set up an emergency off grid battery backup power bank, I'd want only minimal and critical functions of the house using that power. Or else it would all be spent up too fast.

When any interested buyers or lenders appraisers show the true value it will sell under 2 million especially with a close trac two story home next door with a bunch of windows looking down at your privacy that alone would ruin the purchase.
