Thanks Robert! I made mine all in the blender. Added water, and the paint! No glue! I wanted real fine flock, to dust my home-made trees. And to sprinkle on a coating of glue on a hillside. After mixing, I saved the paint water to use on the next batch! And dried it overnight on newspaper. But today, I will try it your way, so I can make some bigger clumps, will make bigger bushes, and go on much faster. Cheers!

Ray best thing about the blender is you can make it as fine as you like cheers Robert

very interesting and what foam did you use to make it and pva/paint?

The foam i used was an old chair cushion and any foam will work. Any PVA glue will do, also the paint can be anything that is Acrylic from paint tubes to paint cans cheers Robert

Yes just to spot a dish liquid when you start will go a long way as far as helping with the consistency of the grinding it makes it fluffier and keeps it moving but I just rinse it out when I get done
