What if you had a side-hustle you were passionate about but no options for a viable workspace in your tiny home? This is the exact conundrum that Bianca finds herself in. By day Bianca works full-time at a tech company and by night she brings her side-hustle - a cross-stitch business inspired by her Nonna - to life. Bianca's found herself struggling to find a dedicated space to work in her tiny condo. She even resorted to tucking her cross-stitch supplies away in a giant bag! She can even add a picture to the Murphy desk “leg” so when it’s up it’s a cute cabinet with a picture on it. And when it’s open it’s cool artwork on the side of the desk.

Yes! What if it was a gallery nook ? So when the desk is folded up it looks like it's just another frame so it almost just disappears when you want to switch off and not think about work. 💫

It would’ve been nicer to put the extra items in a storage ottoman instead of a basket. That way she has somewhere to put her feet up when she reads

Exactly what I was thinking! Much better than the basket, too, because it would be covered and usable as another horizontal surface when she is working at the desk.

As adorable as this is, and it really, really, really is adorable, I was expecting her sewing machine to be a part of her work space. Does this mean there will be a future video showing how you gave her an awesome sewing zone too? 😁

@@observer698 My sewing machines are very easy to find in my sewing/craft room. They may not be decorative, but they are beautiful to me because I enjoy sewing so much.

I love the Murphy desk, it makes perfect sense in that tight space! (But she needs a light for embroidery--her body will block the light from the ceiling fixture.)

Looks great but the one thing that is missing is lightning. For a craft like embroidery (not crochet like you called it) that so detailed you need really good lighting, specially in a corner like that, that's away from natural light.

Came here to say the same. I do handsewing and embroidery myself, and dealing with lighting is so difficult. And so important. And now this girl gets a nice looking nook without any light. And a nice table where she sits with her back to the room lights.

The nook looks nice. Now the owner needs just to resolve a lighting situation, which is the most important part for an embroidery space.

Nice make over but my eyes hurt! Had to reduce the brightness on my device as this video is overexposed. For all the people commenting about the sewing machine it’s mentioned at 3.40 that bianca sold it

I think there could also be a light of some sort, as crafts and reading both need proper lighting and sitting towards the wall, you’re likely to cast your own shadow on your work. The desk and peg wall are amazing ideas!

I love everything about this!! I especially love these crafter space videos because that's what I have: a work/craft room that gets too cluttered. I love to see how you organize it all. This is so good, you nailed it! Everytime you use those peg boards I think 'where can I put that in my flat?' They're just so nice and such a great way of using vertical space!

I don't have a Murphy Desk/Wall Bed but I think they are great. Adding a piece of artwork in this situation would really elevate the space, especially as a reading space. In other areas you could add a mirror.

I have an office nook in my bedroom. Will definitely transfer it in a nook in the living room. But in the meantime, I was deliberating whether to buy a swivel office chair or a statement chair but comfortable. You just convinced me! Going for a double purpose chair that I can use as extra chair in the living or dining room. Thank you!

I recently styled a room for a friend and got a customized dining table made out just like the Murphy desk here. Her mom stores up her pickles and marmalades on the shelves. Saves up do much space in smaller living cum dining rooms.

The light is so bright white in this video esp in the beginning it is impossible to see your painting technique. Not sure why so many vloggers light this way when it is such an unnatural look. Love your videos but wish they were easier to watch with more normal lighting.

The table will not hold much weight. I understand using the peg board, if one of the containers gets knocked off, she will be cleaning up small things. I would have liked to see using under the bed for organized storage. Yarn takes up a lot of space.
