Yep. We’ve started getting the Christmas tree out of storage. We’re not actually setting it up yet tho. Maybe around October 😅 Christmas music is everywhere now too. 🇵🇭

I’m loving that the kids are learning life skills like cooking. Changing tires, managing money etc.. all great things to learn early :) I’m now heading to the grocery store for chilli ingredients lol

True! We filipinos starts celebrating Christmas during "BER" months. You will hear christmas songs playing on the malls and along the street. Also, you will start seeing lanterns and christmas lights hanging on the house and on the frontyard.

YEEEES, We, filipinos just love our Christmas season. Right when the first day of “ ber months “ fall, we slowly count the days to when Christmas comes. Christmas decorations slowly are put up , air at night becomes colder & malls/shops (basically anywhere you go tho) spread the cheer with Christmas songs + people start saving up or start buying gifts 😭🥺🤍 Also all of these ends by atleast end of January hahaha so Taylor swift’s song “ we could put our christmas tree up till january “ is so relevant to us hahaha

Oh my goodness, picking out fixtures for a home renovation is so stressful. My husband gutted our home to the studs and moved plumbing and electrical. His first question to me is what type of finish do you want on the walls. I said, huh. He said flat or textured. I never even thought about such a thing. My suggestion is pay attention to the trims around doors and windows and interior door styles. Pulls on drawers and cabinets and door handles make a huge difference too. I think you have the right idea to stay timeless and classic. Subway tiles are inexpensive and look great.

What my Mom did for our 50th is make us our own 25 x 25 frame of photos collage. Maybe do a similar thing only smaller frames of each child. That’s something they can take with them.

Goodness I love this family 🤗🤗. I live in London (England), my flat had a leak that has damaged my bedroom (my clothes, documents, carpet, beddings etc). Been in tears since yesterday but watching watching the Miller family is like therapy to me. I love you guys 😘😘😘😘😘

We did chili over the weekend because I was inspired by cooler temps! I am transplant to the Midwest from the South and something they do here differently is pair chili with cinnamon rolls! The sweet is very good with the chili! I still love cornbread though!

I represented home builders as a realtor for many years and sold many pre construction homes. The builders used designers to help the homebuyers make selections on everything. Most design centers will furnish that service at no charge . Ever though you have excellent taste, it is difficult to remember all the surfaces, etc. that need to come together. Designers are also excellent at helping you stay within budget and can sometimes offer alternatives to the higher priced selections. Just a thought.
