I always love vlogs with your parents, Sophia! I esp got teary during the scene of mama chang making the kimchi + feeding. Being first-gen filipino american, there's always been that disconnect between my parents & I growing up & the way I wanted to be shown love was different from what they grew up with. I'm blessed now that I'm older, I've realized and learned my parents special way of showing their love to me---food (which I'm sure a lot of people can relate with). I always look forward to the times I'm able to visit my parents & spend that special moment with them. Thank you for the effort you've put into making this video and for sharing your memories with us

I lost my mum last year so watching this brings warmth to my heart. Asian Mums taking over the kitchen and home is a little bit frightening but also amazing at the same time, I miss them so. Your family dynamic is endearing and nostalgic x

I love when you vlog with your family especially your parents. It reminds me of my parents and makes me realize how much they mean to me. I get teary eyed every time I think about them. They’re still alive, which I’m very grateful for, but seeing you with your parents makes me happy. They’re aging and we’re all growing up. Family is what matters. Watching this vlog of you spending time with your parents, especially watching your dad be handy around your home, really pulled at my heart strings. I just recently lost my dad and he was a handyman just like your dad. Watching the clips of your dad just tinkering around your home really reminded me of my dad and how much I miss seeing him fixing random things in my home. This was a great vlog that brought out all the feels for me. Thank you.
