I have a high ceiling. Does it make sense to hang them up and fill them with absorber material behind them? You know my room. Greetings from Kiel

Speaking of layers, is there any advantage to creating a panel with increasing layers of density? For example, rather than making a 6 inch fiberglass panel of one density, making a 6 inch panel using 2 inch thick layers of increasing density. Would this be advantageous either acoustically, or perhaps, in cost effect? Many thanks!
