Home warranties can be a good thing for home repairs that are often less expensive to replace than repair. Examples include, microwave & convection ovens, cooktops, and refrigerators. In some cases even plumbing repairs and electrical repairs may be worthwhile having home warranty coverage on.
Rarely, however is it less expensive to replace an entire air conditioning & heating system than to "band aid" repair it, which unfortunately is what many home warranty companies are notorious for.
Rich was prompted to create this VLOG from a post shared on a Facebook Group for Chandler Arizona residents. The OP (original poster) was frustrated after waiting over a week for her home warranty company to find an air conditioning company to even come out and diagnose the problem - in the middle of another Phoenix record breaking heatwave.
