Cumin Powder - 1 Tsp
Hing / Asafoetida - 1/2 Tsp (Buy: amzn.to/2RC4fm4)
Garam Masala - 1 Tsp (Buy: amzn.to/2TPe8jd)
Besan Flour - 1 Cup (Buy:amzn.to/45k4kza)
Rice Flour - 2 Tbsp (Buy: amzn.to/3saLgFa)
Water

Method:
1. Take cooked corn kernels in a large bowl.
2. Add thinly sliced onions, finely chopped ginger, green chillies and curry leaves.
3. For seasoning, add turmeric powder, Kashmiri red chilli powder, cumin powder, hing, garam masala and mix everything once.
4. Add besan and rice flour. Mix well.
5. Add finely chopped coriander leaves and mix again.
6. To this mixture, add water gradually and make the dough-ey like batter.
7. Heat oil in a kadai for deep frying.
8. Gently drop the pakoda batter into small balls into the kadai.
9. Fry them on a medium flame until they are golden brown on all sides.
10. Once done, remove them from the kadai and serve the pakodas hot with tomato ketchup or mint coriander chutney by the side.
Corn Pakoda is a very easy to make snack recipe. You can make this in under 30 mins and serve your guests who arrive on a short notice. This hot corn pakoda is also a great accompaniment to your evening chai/coffee during rainy & winter seasons. In this recipe, we have used sweet corn to make the pakoda. But you can also you regular country corn if you like. Just like a regular pakoda, this one also requires a few spice powders and binding agents for the dough.
