This song is one of my favorites. Love seeing the switch ups in the voices. Tim can sing in a beautiful higher tenor voice along with Austin & Rob. And Chance can hit the lower bass notes when needed. And Adam did a fabulous job as always with his vocal percussion. This song is sung by a woman Cam, so they sung it in a higher key to match the original.

A song with surprises. Tim who goes tenor, Austin and Rob who also hit different notes than usual, the inhuman vocal percussion of Adam and as a great end to the surprises the incredible bass of Chance. Simply fabulous

We always recommend that reactors have done a number of HF videos before viewing this one so as to have a sense of what each of them usually does with their songs. It's good that you had already watched some of their vids. Allows for being a bit surprised when they switch up 'roles'...so to speak...in this one. Tim going to his higher range, Chance showing his deep bass. In songs where Tim may do lead, listeners tend to forget that Chance is handling the bass. All these guys are so versatile it's fun to see them mix it up. This is such a catchy tune it easily becomes an ear worm. Don't know how many suggestions you've received for solo work by Tim, Austin and Chance as well as work they've done with each other (Tim/Austin), Chance and Tim have both worked with the The Hound + The Fox, Tim w/Peter Hollens, etc. And there are collabs with HF and Kenny Rogers, Don McLean (including another video with him very recently), etc. The list goes on...and on.

Five octaves, baby!!!

This song was originally performed by Cam, a female country singer. Tim sings in the same key as Cam, showing off his upper register and can sing even higher, as demonstrated in his solo doo wop covers. "Will You Still Love Me Tomorrow / Stay" and "Since I Don't Have You" and "Why Do Fools Fall In Love" to name a few. Chance shows that he is able to cover the bass range whenever Tim is singing the lead. Chance has a great voice, as do all of them. That is one of the many great things about Home Free, They have no one single person who always sings lead, but take turns depending on the song. Check out "But Some Girls Do" for a Chance lead. Great reaction, looking forward to more Home Free.

Check out their respectful and utterly beautiful version of the old time Gospel song How Great Thou Art. I am tearing up thinking about how powerful it is. It's filmed in a mountain valley and the stunning view adds reverence and awe to the performance.

So good. Yes, you got the lyrics perfectly and you knew the voices well to know it’s the old switcheroo with Tim as bass singing high and Chance as the baritone singing low. Some people watch this song too early and think Tim is a tenor and we have to say no he’s the bass! He’s just showing off a little of his 5 octave range for ya. Good one RT!😄😍

I you want give you some good suggestions to hear all five sing how great thou art is one helplessly Hoping, angels we have heard on high silent night oh holy night do you hear what i hear are and traveling soldier if i have forgotten any. And like a few people have said we call chance as to not get confused since there is two Adam's in the group. I forgot one song suggestion you should check out homefree my country tis of thee.

Okay, that you are not starting out saying. "Wait!! Is that Tim??" Makes me wonder if you have been paying attention to all those Home Free performances to which you have reacted. But you should be even more impressed as this song was originally sung by a soprano and the boys are doing it not only in the same key but also the same register. And when Adam Chance came in you should have realized that he was there the entire time doing the bass line that Tim normally does. So Tim, Rob, and Austin were all singing tenor, Chance was doing bass, and Adam Rupp was being impeccable on the percussion.

Adam Rupp only sings when there's no need for his specialty, beat boxing.

In the context of Home Free, Adam Chance is Chance. Adam Rupp is Adam because he founded the group, so he has dibs on the name. Calling Chance "Adam" is confusing because we're thinking you're talking about Adam Rupp. I'll admit to being a bit disappointed you didn't comment on their basso profundo singing tenor. That's the fun of this song with new folks is seeing their reaction to the bass singing such a high lead.
