the way you told Hughie and Starlight's part of the story was kinda misleading man (comic spoilers ahead watchout). If i remember it right, not only she was coerced into doing it to join the seven, it happened before she even met Hughie. And Butcher being Butcher, who sometimes is an absolute bastard in the comics, used the tape to manipulate Hughie by convincing him that she did it behind his back, all in an attempt to reinforce Butcher's views about supes into him.

I think when people make characters like homelander they use that character to speak what they trully thinks, qnd ofc thats better than the writer just saying that himself lol

In that so called ‘REVAMP’ of DC’s New 52 I hope to create with Capcom and Shonen thrown into the mix. I began to find a possible way to intrigued The Boys, with My Hero Academia and Kingdom Come in my Animated Universe and this is one of many somehows: Following Jokers death at the hands of Magog following his gassing of the Daily Planet that also cost the death of Lois. Superman begins to loose hope in America and Humanity when Magog gets praise for killing the Joker rather than persecuted. This causes Superman to go into exile causing the Justice League to disband. With the Justice League disbanded and more Supes starting to show up Batman begins to fear that greedy corporations might want to exploit and cash in on Supes. His worst fears get confirmed when a corporation named Vought shows up and introduce Homelander as the New Symbol of Peace and The Seven as a replacement for the Justice League to the world. Batman begins to investigate Vought and The Seven true agenda and is left disgusted and enraged by the revelations and Batman being the true chad that he is, begins to move his own strings. By the end of the Boys Season 1, is when things start to get a complete 180. Batman alongside the Batman-Family, The Boys, and The Devil May Cry shop, successfully exposed Vought and The Seven corruption causing Homelander to show his true colors in public more often and moves to take Ryan early in order to “educate” him. It would be here where Wayne Industries introduce All Might as the new and true Symbol of Peace. Homelander being way in over his head tries to killed this “usurper” on live TV with Ryan as a bystander/witness. But Homelander completely gets his ass handed to him, by the New Symbol of Peace, while Ryan in complete disbelieve and fear runs away like the selfish little bitch his father thought him to be, living his father under All Might’s mercy. To Homelander this event was a complete nightmare, his true self exposed, his powers taken away, his legacy shattered, his “Super Friends” either in prison or dead, Vought being liquidated, and his own Son/family living him for dead. This would mark the end for him. With Homelander dethroned, The Seven dismantled, and Vought liquidase. All Might would become the New Symbol of Peace, the good side of America and the rest of the World would praise in releve knowing that though he wasn’t Supermán, he wasn’t Homelander either. Giving pathway to a new Silver-Age of Super-Heroes with Starlight and Hughie guidance, while Butcher and The Boys would finally find their peace. Homelander would later die in a prison riot where he would get pummel to death by the inmates which lives he ruin to further his selfish agenda, finally putting a fitting end to the Diabolical Homelander. But Ryan now a young adult still having nightmares of abandoning his father and still affected by his influence, would begin to setup plans for his vendetta to later become All for One. Setting up my interpretation of My Hero Academia, where it would end with Superman returning from his self imposed exile to defeat All for One and reclaiming his throne as Symbol of Peace, to set things right, by the end of the Hero/Villain War Arc. giving pathway to my interpretation of Kingdom Come.
