Friendly with everyone and loving, playful and funny, but at the same time very kind and obedient, little Lily is a great dog who will make a wonderful addition to any loving family. She loves cuddles, belly rubs and squeaky toys. She is around two years old, up-to-date on all required vaccinations, microchipped, spayed and she can be adopted internationally to the USA, Canada and Europe. She just let them put a needle into her leg. Some strays don't even let you touch them. At least not right away. This dog must not have been on the streets long.

I don't believe she was receptive to "being captured." I believe, like most living things, gentle angel Lily was receptive to nourishment, attention, affection, kindness & love.💕🙏💕

indeed Casper... thanks Akshat … it's become a real (and admittedly kinda annoying) "pet peeve" (hey! it was homeless so I took it in to my forever mind) to be bothered by the comments that focus on the down votes of a beautiful video. Most GREAT videos only get a 90% thumbs up and a 99% UPs are hen's tooth rare... I'm confident some "thumb downs" are accidental and others, aside from the trolls and contrarians are from people annoyed by the music or something obscure in a video... the only thing worse than people taking in a beautiful video and focusing on the thumbs downs, is me taking the bait and railing against the comments. Haaaaa.

Here in Canada, we don't really have stray dogs (I've lived here 27 years and have never seen one). If Lily had started following me around, I would have brought her home in a heartbeat. It would have taken literally a minute for me to fall in love with her and adopt her. Sometimes I wish I would find a dog.

I agree so much. I've seen so many videos where the person trying to help the dog gets too impatient and spooks the terrified dog. They're good people with the heart in the right place and nothing but good intentions, but they just don't always have the patience to do it slowly, the excitement gets the better of them and they make the move too soon. This lady was so amazing in how she made the poor dog not even flinch.

@Kathy Childress .......Of course no one's talking about people like you! I'm sure you've never been homeless before....as it's happening though. You are overwhelmed, panicking, losing everything....not knowing what to do or where to turn. Especially, if family won't/ can't help, etc. Worry about your pets & family! Even then.....if you did see a Animal in need? We ALL can do something. Give them water, leftover lunch, a hello, etc. But, most of all a warm touch, a few pat's on head, a nice talking too, etc. Good luck with recent situation.....I pray that you and EVERY member of your family is going to come out on top!!

It never ceases to amaze me how many street dogs that've never had vet care will sit still and not snap/struggle through their first examination while blood is being drawn, ticks are pried loose, and thermometers are stuck up in unhappy places. Sometimes it's almost like they know the intention is to help, even if it's uncomfortable.

@Vulgaritar : Yeah I feel the same way. I believe they know that all these people around her after rescued are good humans with only good intentions. I’ve seen some abused stray dogs behaving almost as good as this Lilly after rescued, even though they still have some issues, that tells me they definitely understand the situation and intentions of humans around them. Animals are basically borne to be only knowing good intentions since their natural mind is all innocent... ❤️

The problem is, the more you work to solve a problem, the more the other side works to create the problem. If you are willing to take in any abandoned dog, people are far more likely to abandon the dog and they will do it with absolutely no regret.

Yeah she want someone to love her and make herlove like a baby....i just notice with the lady when she want her to walk but suddenly she stop and come beside to that woman...she wanted maybe to carry her with love....i feel bit sad for her but its care no homeless anymore but still she wanted someone to own her and care for her with love and for the rest of herlife🥰🙏🙏🙏

She's not in as bad a condition as some street dogs I've seen. She probably was someones pet but was dumped for some reason. She seems starved for attention though, so good work.

@FeuermeisterX it is not about taking her home, everyone can take her even to the garage or backyard and reach for rescue or look for a home or at leqst give her some food. It is called empathy, it makes us humans. It is obvious that not everyone can have or should have a dog, but everyone can help and together we can really make a significant change💗

Sara, please let me know. Did you ever pass by over a street person who asked for help? Or did you see a street person somewhere and buy him/her a serving of food? How comes that it is horrible when it comes to dogs, but when it comes to humans it is not perceived as horrible? Do not take me wrong, I'm here because I love dogs, I even have adopted a dog, is with me, his name is Leo, but what I have realized is that people's heart is moving towards dogs rather towards humans. When we see a poor child on the street, why can't we have pity and act to help him as we do for dogs? I mean, who adopt children so often as we adopt dogs? Think about it.

@FeuermeisterX No don't just walk away. Take her to a rescue centre where she can get food and attention and not just 'be left to starve to death. Our family has rescued numerous animals over the years by taking them to a shelter or vet. There's no way we would ever walk past or ignore a starving or hurt animal.

I remember there was this one stray dog in my neighborhood that everyone would leave some food in their front yards or sidewalks but no one did anything to help her find a home until one day someone called the pound and god knows what ever happened to the poor dog. I wish I could’ve done something

This is the first time I’m seeing this - and it made me cry. I mean wailing, runny nose, ugly cry 😢. Seeing this beautiful little girl following people, asking for help and a little love - and watching all those people ignore her, just broke me. The thought of this sweet baby - and so many others, on the streets all alone, scared, hungry, lonely and confused is almost too much to comprehend. I watched this video and thought okay, let’s find out where she is because she’s perfect in every way and deserves to be loved and pampered. I was ready to bring her here, and just love her! ❤️ While I was truly elated to see that she found a loving forever home…i was maybe a teensy bit sad that she wouldn’t be joining our family, lol. Yeah, I know…I’m silly 🙃. I lost two of my little fur babies in the past year, and our one tiny guy that we have left is lonely 😢. So tonight - RIGHT NOW, I’m going to check out some rescue organizations and shelters in my area, and give a fur baby a home. I’m so excited, just thinking about what our new family member will be like. But no matter what…I know he or she will be perfect. 🥰🐾

If there would be 7 billion lions instead of humans, the whole world would be a forest but the lions would completely wipe out non plant living things including themselves. We care more about everything around us than any other animal. They are trying to survive no matter the cost while we ve passed that. Anyone can survive. Even people with no hands or legs. We are the only animals who understand that the survival of the other species is as important as our survival. I don t see no dog cat cow pig lion being concerned about the rise in carbon emissions.

I've officially asked if I can be considered in adopting her. I've applied on their website and I've sent them an email. I know she's the dog for me and I'm hoping she wants me as her owner. I'm hoping to get her before Brexit, so the EU pet passports are still valid. Fingers crossed.

Baby Lunar you and me both. I have a pit outside, but she is taken care of. Someone discarded her, my grandson found her and brought her to my house. They had no place fixed for a dog and we did. He wanted us to keep the dog until he could fix a place at their home. Every bone in that dogs body could be counted. My grandson was crying like a baby at the condition of the dog. Well a couple of years ago, he told me that he was ready to take her home with him. I told him, “no sir, it has been to long now and she is not going anywhere”. There was no way I could let her go, she had been here about 6 years. She is a very sweet and loving dog, she is so big and ways over 90 lbs. We really had no idea what she would be like when he brought her here, but here she knows she is loved, fed and cared for.

Be nice to each other we are all ALL gifts from god to each other to look after each other on this earth , God great animals and Adam and Eve in one day and when he was done saw everything was good ( Genesis) when Noah went to his arc God ask him to take a couple of each animals to start new life and so on , be kind look around you and see what is going on and take it as a lesson for the humanity.

The stray dog is so patient .she let the doctors take blood sample .she was not even biting or barking.and she was not even wearing the mouth guard.such a nice dog
