It’s great that ppl found him who were able to help him, but no not “shame” on ppl who couldn’t. You don’t know that nobody else tried to pick him up. He might have hid from others as well and they weren’t able to find him or didn’t have the time to commit to searching for him. Stop being so judgmental.

I'm with you on this one. I am daft about animals, and can't bear how truly dreadful humans can be. How anyone can live with themselves is beyond me, treating animals this way. Dogs are SO willing to trust again, they have such an indomitable spirit.

I'll second that. What misery he lived through. So happy for him he made such a revovery and is living hos best life. Whomever paid for all his vetcare (this lady or anyone else) deserves much recognition and abundance. And so does his mom and rescue team.

The hate is real with a lot of these vets they pretend to care so much about these animals if somebody owned this dog previously they probably couldn't afford the vet bill. If any of these vets really cared about animals they would have done this operation for free. They always want athletes for stories like this. Why couldn't they help the person that owned the dog previously why couldn't they. A lot of times they would rather you euthanize these dogs than to help them but they do videos like this where somebody will come along and help the dog I hate videos like this

@@Nula7 He was only ten months old when they found him. He may not have been out in public much. And he was obviously scared of everyone, so nobody may have been able to get close enough to even see the string let alone cut it.

@@shockthetoast Don't forget the fact that those people weren't professionals, so they couldn't get that string out of him without serious harm. Who knows, maybe his owners lost him and he ended up in that situation.

Texas has a lot of abandoned dogs. Unfortunately the lucky ones are the abandoned ones, the unlucky ones are the abused.

@@shockthetoast - I was going to say something similar. the original intent might have been good. Maybe he ran away, maybe there were mitigating circumstances. Getting hit by a car, that can't be a surprise and it's just a result of living outside. And then you get to 26 bullet fragments in the leg and realize how much you hate the human race.

I'm 6ft4, 18 stone and work as a car mechanic and nothing pulls at my heart more than seeing animals abused. Especially dogs and cats. I cried at this video too, we're all normal people with a heart.💙

More than sad, imagine how that felt having an embedded piece of string around your neck, nearly cutting your neck off. The pain is unbearable, just a heel blister hurts like hell so imagine that.

@@lachil7496 Perhaps they want to spread awareness of animal cruelty, to make you think of it on a day that perhaps you wouldn't have, just like they were forced to when encountering this dog. Perhaps it is not selfish in the slightest, and rather, inspired. Just as photography is an art, so is videography, and it can be commentary made for good. So it is not exploitation. It is quite the opposite. While channels that reupload such things might be somewhat exploitative, there is still good in knowing stories like these, so even then, it is not fully egotistical.
