What would you do when you think no one is watching? What Would You Do? (WWYD?) explores the varying answers with the help of hidden cameras capturing individuals who have been placed within seemingly everyday situation that quickly go awry. The individuals on this hidden camera show are forced to make tough calls when directly faced with situations of racism, violence, hate crimes, and other hot button cultural issues. Catch John Quinones reporting on these individuals as they make split-second decisions to intervene or mind their own business. WWYD? airs Friday nights at 9|8c on ABC.

Those people were the most fake people ever, he could have gotten plenty of free meals at a soup kitchen, so they needlessly bought him a meal, if they didn't actually take him into their homes and give him a place to stay, then they are no different than anyone else, they were just trying to make themselves look like they were good, that's what fake people do.
@jesuschick7872
@jesuschick7872 3 жыл бұрын
@@abegoldman8749 no they were not fake. They did the right thing getting that man a meal. I use to be homeless myself and let me tell you something it was a blessing to receive a few dollars 💸 (for laundry 🧺 services). It was a blessing for someone to buy food 🍲 and it was a blessing to have someone be nice to you. The reason why people don’t “invite” people into their homes is because they are afraid of getting stabbed or hurt or butchered or have all their things stolen. Back in the 60s when my grandma was in her teens it was unheard of for people to be homeless. Everyone took everyone in. Even during the Great Depression people took people in...that’s because it was unheard of for people to hurt someone who is trying to help them. Now you never know. Look at Ted Bundy he “feigned” like he was hurt and needed help that’s how he leered his victims in. Trust me, I wish more people were more trusting. But these days it’s hard to know who is not a psychopath and who is legit in need.

@@abegoldman8749 So the people who fed a homeless man are the "most fake people ever". What about the one who didn't even do that and just sat there? How many homeless or needy people have you "taken home" kind sir/madam? People like you, I could say are the most ungrateful for everything they receive and only know how to berate someone's effort as "not good enough". I don't even know the people you are degrading but your attitude is disgusting.

I work my ass off and am still one penny away from being homeless myself after paying bills, I'm probably way more hungry than homeless people, I don't got time to eat at soup kitchens like them, but no one ever gives me anything because I'm not homeless!
@m22d889
@m22d889 3 жыл бұрын
@@abegoldman8749 I am really sorry about what you're going through kind sir/madam. However it still doesn't change the fact that we mustn't be hateful toward others just because we are not receiving the same gifts/help as they are. There is a possibility one or some of the homeless people you speak of are homeless after losing the battle which you are also currently struggling with. Noone says you HAVE to help them, but if someone else is, with all due respect my friend, you have no right to belittle or shame them for doing so. The world is bitter and bad enough as it is. I hope things get better for you soon, stay strong and safe. Peace.

LizzieLoveHearts That’s typical behavior of a lot of ppl and he has better potential of changing than his wife does. There’s ppl that think quick and take action and then there’s many others that are hesitant and have no confidence in how they feel. That man does not know how he feels and what to do. You literally see him trying to working out a math equation. He didn’t want the homeless man in there but pretended to be okay to not look like too much a jerk 😒. All in all that couple was a power disappointment. smh. They are actually weak together and chose their own comfort (usually 1hr in a restaurant top) over a homeless man’s 24/7 struggle. The fact that they agreed to show their faces... uggghhhh

"It would've been okay, but I'm also happy to see that someone stood up for us as customers" What. The man had money. He's not begging for free food or asking someone to pay his meal from inside the restaurant. It's obvious that the woman was more concerned about how uncomfortable she felt over someone's need to eat food like a normal person. Jeez.

In reality I think most people are like this. I wouldn’t put it against them, they spoken outright that he is welcome to eat beside them. So they did their part. I felt these words were super hurtful but in reality, no one would be so outright rude. I’ve been eating beside a homeless person before at a food court and I felt really uncomfortable because the stench ruined my experience and I would be glad that they sit somewhere farther away. I mean I didn’t get up to leave because I didn’t want to be rude and respect them but at same time I’m conflicted because the smell was so bad! So I can imagine at a restaurant it would be the same.

The man smelled like so much urine that the woman at the register was humiliating him telling him that this is every day and that she’s not serving him until he showered . This poor man had his $4 in his hands trying to buy a mc chicken and they refused to serve him . They literally threw him outside I was furious . I went outside and asked Him if he would like for me to order the food for him . I take the money go Back inside and order his food . The woman seriously said to me “no that’s for him isn’t it ?” . That’s when I lost it I said “listen I have money in my hand and I am Ordering food it is none of your business who the food is for !” All of a sudden she has no words and takes my Order . It’s SO SAD how homeless people are mistreated that KILLS ME ! Top it off I come to find out the man wasn’t even homeless he was just a elderly man that seems to not have family to Care for him properly . I wish I could get hell to set up the people from that restaurant. I even got it on video when they where mistreating him telling him he stunk and was not Welcome . I don’t have that time of heart smh

I was homeless for two years, I was fortunate enough to be in a small town where people cared, I was in the shelter there as long as they could allow me to be, I got a lot of kindness from strangers, and it was still a horrible experience. Nights shivering in brutal cold, not knowing if I'd survive till morning. Finding water fountains to drink from, bathing in the river at night. I can't imagine how hard it is for these people in these big cities. I live in Dallas now and it's horrible the way the homeless are treated here.

That couple better hope they don't hit rock bottom one-day. You reap what you sow. I help others because I want blessings to fall on my offerings Edited: Why not speak up for someone when we all have a mouth and we are not mute? Edited 2: For those asking that I only help so people help my offerings...no! Good and bad happens to everyone. I rather do more good by showing companion through love rather than close my eyes and not love my neighbors as I love myself. Reaping and sowing is not something to mess with. I rather do good as the Bible say, so my offerings can follow my character to always show love, help those in need, forgive, etc... I rather sow good seed so after I pass hopefully I set a good standard for my son to carry on through reaping...

I see her as one of the many fearful sheep who don't take stands and would rather watch and not get involved, even when decency says they should. They keep their heads down, look away and don't speak out. BAAAAAA. Karens, OTOH, do a LOT of speaking. They lecture, they harass, they demand. This woman, IMO, was no Karen.
