It’s sad to think that she got nearly got harassed by all those men with the camera crew and security there but it’s scary to think about woman who are alone on the streets

My mother can never be homeless while I have a house.

That is why u should be grateful for everything u have, because everything you have u can loose that in a blink of an eye.

I wonder if any of these rich kids ever think of going back and helping the homeless that help them. Like this lady right here was really nice to the girl even took her to meet her daughter, I wouldn't be able to sleep at night if I didn't.

I hope the experience has changed her perception of homeless people and the difficulty of escaping from it. Her struggling, the first night, to find a safe location must be intensified for those without a camera crew/securities. How can you expect someone to easily change their life when their living conditions are so hostile and their main concern is whether they can find a safe place to reside at night.

I’m 14 and I was homeless when I was 8-11 it is really difficult. We didn’t have any money but thankfully we had an amazing family who supported us :)

Yes homeless people can do more but its not what they can do PHYSICALLY that matters its their MENTALITY that gets shattered straight away which just leads to them falling into a hole that they may never come out from. Its not easy to do anything in life when mentally you're not stable. So before you say homeless people can do more think twice

Having graduated from a university in the UK, my cousin went back to HongKong. He spend two weeks sleeping rough until he found somewhere to stay and a job at one of the big fours. People sleep rough for various reasons. I learnt not to judge them.

This is the people I like they still come from a wealthy family but they wanna work still even though they don’t have to

She knows she has a home to go to after filming for a few days. The camera crew and security not only protect her, but make it less lonely. She presumably has access to food between takes too.

That's Stratford, London. Which has a huge disproportion of homelessness. It is literally one step away for everyone

I remember when I was homeless. as a female your never really safe even with ppl you think you know. thats why I made it a point to not be pretty. its harder when ur naturally pretty but avoiding makeup and not doing your hair forsure is in ur best interest. she needs to put her hair up in a bun and take off her makeup and eyelashes. for one, ppl will know right away shes not really homeless and that alone can make her a target if shes trying to intergrate into the sort of homeless community

Sheesh she is THE worst! I'm homeless right now, college graduate and sober. You never know what people have been through, she is still catered too. She isn't even getting the FULL ON experience as a homeless woman and yet she is still crying as a crew follows her around guarding her from harm.

Few people recognize that it is not just attitude and determination that makes people homeless it's also opportunity or lack of. Not just jobs but care humanity decency safety. And if you assume the worst when you see a homeless person (drugs alcohol lazy etc) you obviously care more about yourself then another human being seeing as how you refuse to challenge your beliefs, consider them and you keep that wall up against them

all the wealth in the world and fellow humans have to go through this and especially young people. it's very sad

As someone who used to be homeless, this is a little inaccurate but I like the intention of the show trying to kind of debunk the myths of homeless people just being lazy and all that However, this video/show still feels like it kinda portrays the stereotypes still... a lot of homeless people are actually employed and not everyone are crazy, violent, or drug involved

There is no "getting comfortable" but rather destitute at times. Not doing hard drugs either, which is a blessing and a curse to survive weather extremes

"Rich kids go homeless" is a very misleading title for this show in my opinion. "Rich kids sleep rough" would be more accurate. I do respect her for going through this experience, but she wasn't homeless for those 3 nights, she still had a home somewhere during this time, which she could go back to in the end.

The same thing could be accomplished by having these rich kids volunteer for homeless shelters and soup kitchens. Those are where I learned to really understand the homeless. Volunteering and meeting homeles people taught me the truth. Lots of middle class people are just one paycheck away from homelessness Most middle class dont know how to deal with being brome and are more likely to end up homeless then the working poor. The working poor know where to find the right resources to keep a roof iver their head.

The first thing to sort is peoples attitude we helped a homeless guy in december last year before christmas he was moved from one city to another to be treated in hospital he was there having surgery for appendicitis and was told he couldnt stay the night to complete his stitches and they needed the bed for another person this meant he was on the street soaked as it was raining in a city he knew no one or his way around so we got him food etc and tried all sorts of accomodation we would offer to pay for him so he could stay the night before going to hospital in the morning but every place we tried turned us away with excuses and were told they were fully booked but as we werent idiots we had looked before walking to make sure there was space. So much for people being kind at christmas. It was heartbreaking knowing people use the excuse they need to try harder when how can they if no one is willing to help these people we walked 3 miles that night all over the city in hope all 3 of us soaked and stressed at the fact that we couldnt help this poor man who was limping and in pain from the infection and we couldnt take him into our university accommodation so felt so hopeless

I would have stayed with that first man, he told another guy to back off, she’s a pretty young lass. I’d have stayed with the burly man in the light, not hidden somewhere hoping no one found me, and definitely not gone with the guy on the bike.

I watched programme about homeless people years ago...and some just didn't go to sleep at night..but in daytime... maybe this programme illustrates why. What a hellish way to have to live..in the 5 th richest Country on earth.

What you should do if your homeless . 1. Find some proper shelter and somewhere that has a roof to protect yourself from the rain . 2. Go inside places during the day like pubs and libraries. 3. Have a sleeping bag with you . 4. Reach out as much as you can to find somewhere safe to live. 5. Ask strangers for a few pounds a day to get some food and drink . Tell them your situation. 6. Have a pull up tent with you .
