Prayers for all the homeless. I was homeless in California a few years with small children and was also pregnant during the few months we hid on the streets or stayed in campgrounds because the shelter was more dangerous than camping...I thank God I was able to get into an apartment eventually. I hope she finds shelter and a better life someday. Being homeless with children is a living nightmare especially in a state that has no compassion for those with out a home.

Its so important to show empathy and compassion for those who are going through difficult times. Life can sometimes deal you a bad hand and sometimes the hand that's delt is not favorable. For those who find the strength to carry on I pray for you because its hard out here. This is a cold wicked, cynical world we live in and mercy is rarely shown to those who struggle. There's no love, no compassion, no sympathy for the broken and troubled. I pray that all who struggle improve their lives and the adverse conditions you live in. It changes in time, for the better, just don't give up. So many barely holding on to the little they have. In the so called richest country in the world, there should be no poverty or homelessness.

Do you have a job? Have you tried to get your life together and get off the streets? There are churches and programs that will pay for your deposit to rent a place and utilities to get turned on, you just have to find them. I am a property manager and they pay new tenant's deposits to us all the time and this is in Florida, a republican state. I would assume the democrats would offer even more resources, or at least that's what they tell you. Nobody chooses to become homeless, but one can choose to STAY homeless. You can get out of that situation if you truly are not drinking/doing drugs. Start going to a church and they will help you, I guarantee you. If not, you need to get down to the Florida panhandle by any means possible. "90 works" will help you where I'm at. Idk if they're just local or if there's other locations. And everywhere is hiring. I mean like desperately seeking people... like restaurants having to shut down for 2 days out the week just to give the workers their days off, desperate. I'll be praying for you, brother.

Her choice. Poor problem solving skills. She's been out there for three years? and still can't find a place or a shelter or agency that will help her? Bull shit! She waits till the last minute when they are cleaning up the neighborhood and getting rid of the refuse, human and otherwise. Then she cries that no one will help her and her kids? The state should have rescued those kids long ago from the filthy rat infested hovel they were living in. Three years! Now she wants help and turns on the tears to try and get it. There are plenty of state resources that are available to help. But yes, there are rules. No Drugs, No Alcohol, Curfews, Daily chores, Counseling, etc. etc. But Noooo, "your not gonna tell me what to do" seems to be the prevailing attitude. She has spent most of her life Getting high and procrastinating, and letting others give her hand outs to take care of her kids, she parades them up front so people will feel sorry for them. Its pathetic. A single mother with minor children has tons of resources available to her in these times. Especially in Oregon. So don't buy it. Its all Bullshit. The tears, the act, There's prob not even any kids. Did you see any? No, They convieniently are not there that day. Some one else is watching over them. Which is prob every day. She just pulls 'em out when she needs them. I don't believe one bit of her tripe!

Including the fact she may have poor problem solving skills because she's traumatized, abused or mentally ill. You ever heard of helping someone who is unable to help themselves? Probably not because your help probably comes with conditions. Placing conditions on the mentally ill doesn't work out the same. You should be ashamed of yourselves!! You people that sit here judging people in these conditions, blaming people, you are a huge part of the problem as well!! Stop solely blaming political parties! And once in a homeless shelter they hook you up to agencies to get you into a apartment that is how I got my apartment about 4 years ago My rent lights water garbage is only 275.00 a month and I would have never got this apartment if I didn't go into a shelter because apartment is a lot warmer than living under a overpass Bridge somewhere where a person will get actually raped at

I am born and raised in Sacramento and I have never seen the amout of tents , trailers and no solutions in my life here . I am irritated that they are without a home and the trash ect no different than Seattle . I am mad that this is allowed , market value has price out people to live this way and it has become everyones problem. I really don't care if they are on drugs , drink ect they need stability. Also there are working homeless people living this way with JOBS that still can afford to live here or get out of here . So I hate seeing all of this I hate people are in a cycle that feels hopless and there is not enough action to make it liveable in Sacramento. The haves are going to understand you push the lower incomes out there will be no one to do the jobs one does not want to do and this is what we are left with . NOT EVERY HOMELESS PERSON DID THIS OR DOES THIS! MAYBE MORE PEOPLE WILL START HELPING AS A MAJORITY OF PEOPLE DONT CHOOSE TO BE HOMELESS AND FEEL ASHAMED BECAUSE SOCIETY JUDGES AND TALKS ABOUT THE HOMELESS BUT DOESNT HELP THEM OR TALK TO THEM! THANK GOD IF YOU E NEVER HAD TO EXPERIENCE THIS PAIN AND LOSS OF BEING HOMELESS! Yes it might be an eye sore to see the trash and shopping carts everywhere but seriously be proactive and help find a solution don’t judge each individual because of one individuals choices! Some of these people including myself have been through things that brings you to this situation, not everyone has family or people that care and help them! Homeless or not everyone litters daily but heads are turned when it’s not a homeless person ! You’ve got people who aren’t homeless doing worse things than burning some plastic bags or doing minor thefts so they can feed their children and them selves! Not every person is fortunate enough to have a place to live they can afford and this is all because of money hungry snobby people who act like they’re better than the next person! Who are we to Judge! We all fall short of the glory of God daily !! Thank God for what you have and ask God to bless the ones that don’t have and are in need 💝

@@sandib4234 what help? There is no help out there! All there is out there is judgment and gossiping and people thinking they’d never be in that situation! Pray to God you never are cause trust and believe you’d look at it differently and stop thinking that it’s easy to get help when THERE IS NONE! Stop bringing your judgments and convictions on these people and help them give them food or money clothes blankets etc… JESUS WOULD! God bless you and your blind eye cause there is no real long term help for the homeless! Not every homeless person does crime or drugs or choose to be homeless! You’ve obviously never been through anything this hard in your life and thank God for that, pray for these individuals and show love and compassion! Why do people with money think they’re better than someone who doesn’t have money? We need to pray more for this ugly harsh world filled with violence and abuse! Go ask these individuals their story and how they got to where they’re at be a solution not a problem!

So sad 😔 some people have absolutely everything you can imagine, I just literally watched a celebrity buy a watch for 4 million dollars, in the same country mothers are torn from their children and homes and have nothing, something is just so wrong with this world, I pray that you receive the help you need and you and your girls are back together and have a home and this burden is lifted from your heart 🙏

@@patriciamckinney2229 exactly. Give a man a fish; he eats for a day. Teach a man to fish; he feeds his family for a lifetime. How many of these people have actual 9 to 5 jobs? I bet not one of them. Go flip burgers, get a job history, change jobs, keep building skills and keep moving up. Minimum wage in CA is $15/hr - that is $31,200 yr. In SAC cheap rent is 800 to950/mth which is $9600- 11,400 per year. This leave you roughly $21K/year to live on which is better than living on the streets. That with food stamps, cash and medical gets you off the streets and your KIDS too. It's doable, but YOU must be the CHANGE. YOU HAVE TO DECIDE TO GET OFF THE PIPE OR OUT OF THE BOTTLE. NO ONE CAN DO THAT FOR YOU. ONLY YOU CAN DO THAT FOR YOU.

@@patriciamckinney2229 If a country is so backwards that extreme wealth and extreme poverty both exist then there’s a very real moral problem. Your excuse if they earned it is despicable. No one ever should have so much disposable wealth they can throw around massive amounts of money on things that don’t even provide basic needs. You need to rethink your ideology. I believe you’re one of the greedy ones. You find it acceptable because you’re greedy too. You hope that your greed will help you become extremely wealthy one day. Like if you had an option one morning to become disgustingly wealthy and lose your soul in the process you’d happily take it. There’s the palpable greed of the wealthy and then there’s hopeful greed from poor people who wish to also have everything while others starve to death. You’re just as bad if not worse as a billionaire because you don’t even have that money tainting you. You hope for it and that’s disgusting.
