It is one of my three favorite versions of this song. One is the original, second is from Gregory Adamisin on the channel guitaro5000 and this is the third version (not in this particular order, because ever song is special in its own right).

Been looking for covers here. My conclusion: people focus too much on singing creep properly. They totally miss the point: it should be imperfect, painful, sad, loud. This is what the song is about. Well done mate, 14 years late.

This guy reminds me of my brother. Another free spirit who came into this world wanting only to be free and happy. Unable nor willing to conform or comply with what The Man said was 'normal'. Defiant, rebellious with boundless energy in his persuts of happiness, leading his band of friends to the next party or revolution. A tortured soul, from the beginning it seems. Subject to the deepest wounds, the suffering the greatest pains, and running from the darkness. Looking for an escape, any escape. For my brother, it was music. The heroin dulled the physical pain but never quite masked the psychological and emotional. Later in life, my brother looked and sounded in a similar way to this man. All that was left after years of partying, drugs and rebellion against this world, was left a shell of a man. Tough, rough and not the type you'd want to run into perhaps to look at him, but if you handed him a guitar and asked him to tell you a story from his life, he would present you with something like this. And in that moment, you would hear every heart break, every betrayal, every fight, every dream and truth pushed fourth on every breath. You felt it, not just heard it. Like this man and my brother, they've seen too much, lived too hard and while the exteriou is weathered, twisted rough, deep inside lays a heart of gold. In 2011 my brother died after one year clean and sober, he was killed by a drunk driver, a lawyer driving home from a bar. Irony is brutal if not poetic.

+Ivan Sugartail Sometimes you can live life beyond "the fullest" (hate that misleading phrase btw), rest assure that he probably fulfilled 100 lives to the fullest by the sounds of it while living out that notion. It is however strange how life works out a lot of the times, his story in the end days-year is similar to many many out there... its almost if someone said "alright, you paid your dues and made admen's ..the gates are open, welcome home". My uncles story-life is no different then your brothers, except they never nailed who ran him off the road. Peace

Hope things are better for him now.

Dope Lawls personally, i think the raspy voice gives it character. We have too many singers using technology to make their voices perfect to the point that the music has no soul. I miss singers with that like a janis joplin or morrison from the doors.

WildVideos totally with you on this. not to disparage this guy singing but his voice however talented he may be has been done before. thom yorke, well there is a reason he is thom yorke, lead vocalist of one of the most influential bands in rock history. i think what makes this guys story particularly special is because of his background and how well the lyrics fit with his story. but in all honesty i feel there is a same type of guy with an exceptional voice singing in the streets for every single city in america. here in austin there is this homeless guy on 6th street playing this exact same song with a similar type of voice. i saw him again just two nights ago. for a second i thought this guy was him.
