Ingredients:
250 grams ground beef
1 egg yolk
2-3 slices bacon
1 teaspoon chili flakes
1 teaspoon onion powder
Salt and pepper to taste
1 crispy burger buns
Lettuce leaves
1 red onion, thinly sliced
1 tomato, sliced
Pickles
1 tablespoon olive oil or butter (for toasting buns)
Goda or mozzarella cheese
Optional: ketchup, mustard, mayo and coriander powder
Instructions:
Prepare the Beef Patties:
In a mixing bowl, combine the ground beef with egg yolk ,chili flakes, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Mix until just combined; do not overmix.
Optional : Make a slight indentation in the center of the patty to prevent it from puffing up while cooking.
Toast the Buns:
Heat a skillet or griddle over medium heat.
Brush the insides of the burger buns with olive oil or butter.
Place the buns, cut side down, on the skillet and toast until golden brown and crispy. Remove and set aside.
Cook the Patty:
Heat the same skillet or griddle over medium-high heat. If necessary, add a bit more oil.
Place the patties in the skillet and cook for about 4-5 minutes per side for medium doneness, or adjust the cooking time to your preferred level of doneness.
Add bacons and cook until tender .
If using cheese, add 2 slices to the patty during the last minute of cooking and cover the skillet to melt the cheese.
Assemble the Burger:
Spread your desired condiments (ketchup, mustard, mayo) on the toasted buns.
Place a lettuce leaf on the bottom half of each bun.
Layer with slices of tomato, and pickles.
Add the cooked beef patty on top of them.
Finally add red onions and bacons on top.
Cover with the top half of the bun.
Serve:
Serve the burgers immediately while they’re hot and juicy.
