Guys today we are building a mini bike from scratch! This motorbike will be powered by a 6.5hp diesel Yanmar clone! In the first episode of the build we used rogue fab's tubing bender to make a frame, then build the front forks as well as attach a sprocket to the rear wheel and build a rear wheel assembly, along with a jack shaft.

For the seat, have a pivot at the back, top of the frame and have the seat come off of it. You could then have a shock/spring mount on each side of the seat with one mount being the back of the seat and the other somewhere around the tire. Kind of like build break repeats rotary bike. m.kzfaq.info/get/bejne/eJ-HnqiJxs61pZ8.html

For the seat, I would make a swing arm type bracket with a small coilover shock underneath and mount the seat on top of that.

Put the seat on a pivot, and make it supported by two springs under the backside of it where the frame cuts in. Sort of like one of those beach cruiser seats, but with more travel.

Awsome video and awesome builds as always idk how you dont have a sponsor yet but anyway for the seat situation i think it would be cool to do a twist on a springer seat like on the hard tail bikes but instead of using the coil springs like normal i would suggest using an old leaf spring and hang the seat off the back were your S is in the fram and i think it would kind of match your build style/ comfortable.

Make a single metal hoop (similar to a basketball hoop) with a padded trampoline center (seat) welded to the 2 upper parallel bars and braced to the horizontal bar closest to the rear wheel with an oblong hoop. This keeps the curved metal theme going.

The forks mount to the neck. And I would probably do a springer seat? Kinda hard with the way the rear of the frame is designed, I think the springer would be pretty easy and it would look pretty sick in my opinion 💪

Very interesting, and looking forward to the next part. regarding the seat, I would like to see a car seat, something towards the smaller size, but then again it just might look awful. Make the seat hinge over the engine and put springs on the back to give it some bounce. Make sure there is some space so you don't crush and vital body parts between it and the frame. A couple of small posts and some fatty washers with a push pin will lock the springs down. How you make this all work is up to you but I know you can do it. It also essentially gives it rear suspension so to speak for a smoother ride. Its been done before so look into it. I have wanted to do this for years but Small Diesels are not cheap and usually require a 1 inch shaft clutch. Also very expensive. Good job boys

Keep it Oliver Motorized and weld a tractor seat on it. Then cut it off because it looks Goofy. Then bend up a rear tail section that'll be a fender/seat. Also give ya a spot for lights if you want to go that far on it. Or the general idea of a hinged seat on a shock/spring. Well crap I guess I didn't help. But hey you could always weld a door hinge on an old metal tractor seat and slap some springs under it and call it done.
