Another amazing snacks, both my husband and I love almonds as they are healthy and nutritious, just need to be a bit careful so not to overeat since they are quite high calories. And look forward to your cookbook, sorry to hear that there is a delay due to the publisher, hope they can set a hard date soon.

Thank you Tra! I agree with you: portion control is important when eating almonds or any other nuts, because it is easy to forget that the carbs and calories can accumulate. Brilliant as usual!! & timely!! We need snacks soon. We haven't had our Thanksgiving yet so Lots of partying coming. These sound like great gifts also! I'm making keto chocolate coated macadamias also & this will round them out nicely. I also still have a horrible sweet tooth so I might add some keto honey flavor for a sweet hickory smoke flavor... ? 😉🤓 Maybe for a special gift make also the hot for a 3rd variety?? Hi Becky! I agree with you - these would make a nice food gift. At Christmastime I make a cookie box filled with some of my Christmas cookies and other favorites, and give them as food gifts. Thank you for the suggestion of using these as food gifts as well - I think that I'll add a little pouch of these as per your suggestion. I like how you have taken the basic recipe and made several suggestions for different flavors - thank you! Re: the cookbook: the publisher has indicated that we will not be able to get our first proof until around Christmas, which makes me very sad. I do not want to release the cookbook unseen in case there are issues with photos or color, so we'll hopefully be publishing early in the New Year, but a hard date has not yet been set. @@KetoMealsandRecipes I totally agree on not releasing the book until You & a very trusted OCD friend have thoroughly proofed it for grammatical & context errors. Only thing worse than not making a cookbook at all is releasing one with errors!! You must trust the timing & Your due diligence for the right release of Your Perfect Cookbook!! What is it's title? Better late than wrong I always say!! You got this!!

@@KetoMealsandRecipes PS: I worked in a print shop for 17 yrs & we always gave them a proof copy before it was ever set up for a print run... ?? Once it has printed, finding errors is moot. 🤔 But maybe in the digital age they can print & bind a whole book... just one book?? Not the way real printing is done but I got out of one of the last real print shops I think. Our customers were NOT happy with the work they got off digital copier. Colors can not so easily be gotten perfect as by a pressman mixing ink. You need be happy with what You get. Pray they can make one book & You can take Your time to look for any discrepancies & typos. Ppl still typeset books 😉 I will be worth waiting for dear Angela!! Worthy of Your name!! 🤩💕💎🏆

Hi Becky! I do believe that the proof is produced digitally. I am not sure, since this will be printed on order after it is released, whether color consistency will be an issue - printing is at a per copy cost, so I am a bit worried about color consistency of the book. With regard to typos and stuff, I have already had an independent editor go through the text once, but we want to make sure that the formatting per page is correctly done, having never seen a trimmed version. While finishing the first book, I started putting together the concept and some of the recipes for the second book, which will be 100% new recipes that I have not shared before, and also, it is still at the concept stage, but I have a cookbook of healthy, whole food keto meals for kids that I hope will inspire both kids and parents to eat nutritious meals and that steer them away from prepared, processed foods. Childhood obesity and diabetes worries me a lot, as being a diabetic is not fun. Becky, I love talking to you - and look forward to our next chat!

The cookbook's title is "Healthy and Delicious Meals and Recipes" All the recipes are from my keto lifestyle, but I am de-emphasizing the keto since I believe term on KZfaq has become misused, and I wanted people who are interested in health and nutrition not to be scared away by that four-letter word 😄
