The ingredients you will need:
1/2 cup of water
1/2 cup of white sugar
1/2 cup of brown sugar
1 tbsp of vanilla extract

Made with maple extract instead of vanilla. My goodness it tasted like maple syrup👍👍👍❤❤❤

We can you use white sugar also (ordinary sugar) if you are adding ordinary sugar you want to add lemon juice also

That alcohol based Vanilla is gone in three seconds once you put it in boiling sugar.

So far you the only one i see brown your white sugar. Ppl don't know the taste it gives, when you do that

brown sugar gives more depth to the flavor as well as vanilla extract, however, you could still try making it with white sugar :)
