Detailed instructions on how to make Home made Georgia Peach Ice Cream...
6 quart recipe...
Heat 4 Cups of Milk until small bubbles start to form around the sides... add 3 1/2 cups of sugar and 3/4 teaspoon of salt and stir until all has completely melted and no granules of salt or sugar are present on the bottom of the pot... remove from heat and add 1 quart of Half and Half and 1 quart of Heavy Whipping Cream... Puree 6 Cups of fresh peaches... may need to add some sugar to peaches depending on what type and how ripe they are... pour into freezer and make ice cream!!!
I also show some important steps on preparing those Ga peaches and how to best store, serve and carry your ice cream. I also explain the importance of using plenty of rock Salt to get it to freeze faster making it smoother and more velvety, I even show how cold the ice in the freezer gets (4° Fahrenheit) with a instant read thermometer. And finally a Pyrex dish set up with insulating bag that makes a perfect carrying device for taking your home made ice cream to gatherings etc.

@@JohnSandersindeed you are right...your beloved mother's recipe is the best Peach ice cream in the world. Next time, try mixing 1/2 mango & 1/2 peach...heavenly, I promise you🤤. I've tried Mango-Peach ice cream during my travel to the Philippines and it was superb. I will never forget the pleasure it gave me but I end up shivering because I ate too much ice cream😂

I’m gonna try and clean it. So I can make this ice cream! Thanks so much for being you! And sharing your Mama’s recipe. My daddy was from Louisiana and he was a great storyteller like you! Good day to you John from Texas. Even though I love peaches and peach ice cream, much respect and admiration for my neighbors to the east and the great state of Georgia for having the best fruit in the country, the Georgia peach! John, even though I liked your video and ice cream making, I can't afford all those do-dads to make ice cream. I do want to say however that I remember sitting on the ice cream freezer as a kid while my brothers cranked the crank. It's a by-gone era I wish we had back. Reason I ask is that you point out that you can get that extra velvety texture with the white mountain and I’m wondering if you can also get the same texture with say a cuisenart machine that doesn’t use ice or salt ?
