1/2 cup Mayo
1/2 cup Sour Cream
1/4-1/2 cup Buttermilk (amount depends on desired consistency)
1 tbsp Chives (finely sliced)
1 tbsp Dill (finely sliced)
3 tbsp cup Parsley (finely sliced)
1 Garlic clove (grated)
Juice of 1/2 lemon
Salt & Pepper to taste
Note:
Use the buttermilk in stages until you get to your desired consistency.

I'd recommend onion powder and garlic powder in a little bit of salt and vinegar as well. It will taste much more like ranch dressing instead of ranch dip.

I keep a jar of homemade ranch seasonings (dried herbs, etc.) In my cabinet so I can make a quart of ranch anytime I need it.

Great content, love me some ranch. The key detail is to cool your homemade ranch in the fridge for atleast 4 hours or overnight. If you serve right away, it will taste like mayo.

@@jeremybartlett1706 Do you want to make homemade sour cream too? Homemade mayo and homemade sour cream will make the dressing have a much shorter life. I use mayo and sourcream in a lot of things I consider homemade. Cakes, casseroles, baked goods, etc.

Hellmans is from the north. Dukes sells more in south. The first time I had Dukes was, when I lived in the south. I like it on potato salad, but I use Hellman’s for sandwiches. Dukes makes and amazing Tartar sauce. Hellmans has more of a neutral flavor, it doesn’t over power the other ingredients.
