Taky se to dá trochu obrátit. Jde vidět, jak si v Česku žijí, když můžou do šrotu vyhazovat různé funkční věci, které ještě slouží. Viz. např. funkční motory. :o)) Pánové, jste šikovní. Dobrá homemade pila.

Interesting method of powering the traverse. I might consider doing something like that for mine.

Must be some extremely dense wood. I do wish it had a blade guard.

with a small tower, a set of pulleys, a weight could be used to pull the saw through, with less weight, it could make up for the low power of the motor by not putting a heavy load on it, and it wouldn't take power on the winch to pull it through. a damper would be needed though, for when it pops out the end.

For those who wonder, 'Why so slow?', certain woods have a lot of gummy sap to it and you simply can't go fast on it without having a kerosene drip on the blade as it proceeds.

sorry for my bad English, I meant : best would be motor 5kw/ 3000rpm, but then you have to reduce RPMs to 1000rpm on a driven shaft (you have to put 3 times bigger pulley on the shaft, the shaft that rotates blade wheel)

well done , I think you have to install new motro, more powerful , best rated for home needs, I think, is 5kw/ 3000rpm, with 1000 rpm on driving shaft.

W?hy not make it gravity feed. Put the unit on a slight angle and let gravity pull the blade into the wood?
