I try and make a Homemade Tire Sealer and use it on my dry rotted Lawn Tractor Tires. And we Celebrate Spring on the Pond

Good experiment Goom!! I have the same machine, it's 42 years old with the original tires!! They're in great shape, it spent it's entire life in the Shed though!!☻

My Craftsman 1000 is going on 25 years and still has the original tires, which have tread but that is it. So rotted that holding air is almost whimsical. I tried a whole bottle of slime which did nothing. Ended up installing tubes, but had to clean out all the nasty slime crap. Good luck to you!!!

Good to know. I usually use just regular green antifreze for slow leaks and it works. I knew somebody that always used oil for tire shine and it ended up cracking the tires like crazy so iv never thought to use it. But on old junk tires why not.

Time will tell. I've heard of antifreeze being used to make wood swell, like to fix a loose hammer head.
