This was some of the most fascinating 13 minutes of my life that felt like an eternity and i was focused the entire time. There was so much life in just 1 dish of food and its incredible. I really gotta visit an asian country sometime soon, as an outsider watching in it just looks amazing

It actually is the Japanese tempura. The batter to make Korean fried food doesn't have ice in it.

와 떡볶이 떡까지 직접 불린 쌀을 빻아서 만드는 곳은 정말 오랜만에 보는 것 같네요. 직접 만들어서 그런지 떡이 더 쫄깃해보여요~! 게다가 떡볶이에 차돌까지 올라가다니 영상 보니까 너무 먹고 싶네요! 야식으로 떡볶이 먹어야겠네요.

Addicted to these videos! I wonder what it all tastes like. Love the ASMR. My only curiosity is in a majority of the videos I don’t know what the food items even are. I’m assuming this was rice, but not 100% sure!

Yes, it's rice! I think they were grinding it into rice flour, I always thought there would be more ingredients! Tteok (said like dock or duck I believe) is a type of rice cake that is popular in stews, it's also eaten grilled on skewers with sauces. I haven't tried it but I see it in so many Korean recipes, it seems like a very comforting food, I hope to try it someday. 🤤
