Definitely your sixth sense Carolyn, I had this too before I lost my dog years ago, looking back I subconsciously felt we were going to lose her yet for no reason at the time, just looking back I knew it. You can see it so very clearly in you, you seemed emotional and in another video I saw before Capone passed, you just knew something was coming, instinctively. Looking at Capone on the beach, he too looked as though he was soaking up everything, feel your pain dear Carolyn, I just hope each day your slowly coming to terms with your loss. Remember though Capone will always be your co pilot in spirit, he’s close to you, I’m sure you can feel it even if you can’t see him, he’s right there. Love and blessings to you and hugs too 💕👍🕊🌈🌻

Carolyn, aren't you glad you went to Alaska with your buddy. You have such wonderful memories of your time together. The thing you must remember is you gave Capone a wonderful life of open and free space to run around in and his experiences were wonderful and exciting for him. Not that many dogs get to do what you did for Capone. God bless you for providing a wonderful life for your dog.

Yeah - no matter how independent and strong we are, sometimes we just want our own special someone. Capone was a great dog but not much of a conversationalist, eh? I still think it was a great trip for him too - that he must have loved being able to RUN, to explore, to smell the smells and splash in rivers and lakes and oceans. He was a lucky dog and you were a lucky human to have shared your lives for a time. Gorgeous footage, wonderful topics and oh my gosh. I swear I could smell the crisp clean air of that glacier! LOL. Wow.

In 1984 we camped for free on the Homer Spit. Much has changed. Enjoyed the video. I don’t know if it was a premonition, but I’m sure you were sensing something was not right with your buddy. I don’t blame you for not wanting to leave him in your RV in such a congested area. You made wise choices.

I am sobbing, bless that dog he stole my heart. Maybe like you I just need a good cry and some rest. I don't want to say I know what you are going through and expect it to help heal your heart. We both know it will not because there is a part of a broken heart that never heals . Capone loved you and you were a good friend that loved him. There are so many dogs that don't have one day of the total love and devotion you gave Capone a life time of. He was part of you and now I'm sure you feel lost without him. Thank you for allowing us to see that laughing, silly clown face with these videos again. Capone was so special .

I had noticed on a few videos that Capone looked as if something had changed, probably just noticing changes in his body not being like it usually was. I don't look at that as a premonition, but a reasonable conclusion, that with him getting older, time was getting shorter for him. And see, they mean so much to us, it intersects with our own dependence on them. If we begin to feel like they are not going to be with us much longer, sure, we can feel our loneliness intensify.
@Mcfirefly2
@Mcfirefly2 5 жыл бұрын
As a human getting older, I feel those changes, and have felt like I knew how Capone felt, to notice something not quite right, or at least not quite the same. I don't indulge in _premonitions_ , since a related thing ruined my life, so I do not recommend it to anyone else. But I also remember when I was 14, miserable, with strep throat, and I seriously thought it was likely that I was going to die. I was facing death, for sure, but I didn't die. I'm 66 1/2, a good 52 years later. Now, if I feel a little closer to death, I don't _let_ it be a premonition, because it _is not_ . Theres a dangerous, ugly, self-fulfilling prophecy thing about premonitions and divination, and I do not want the spirits of divination to win. I do think that perhaps God is getting me get used to the idea, though! Admitting my vulnerability to it, maybe? I think that was the point of feeling that way when I was 14, so I conclude this is the same. (Not to make this about me, but--!!??) I just don't put it down to premonitions. Just being that close, and intuitively sensing, through completely natural means, that he probably wouldn't be with you much longer, is more than enough to cause anyone to feel more keenly what having that buddy around is giving us, and what we may feel when they finally leave us. Think of how kids feel when they see Bambi lose his mother, or Dumbo separated from his; they begin to be very aware of the pain of losing their own, and feel it deeply, all without a premonition in sight. In the case of a wonderful dog like Capone, loyal, gentle and kindly, if you begin to realize that you're likely to not have him much longer, you are going to know that you will miss him. But as painful as it is, it tells us that we weren't meant to be completely alone. Worth it to know that warmth and friendship and happiness were meant for you, too, especially if you are prone to be sad.

Well my post disappeared mid typing so will try again. We strong single women do on occasion feel a longing for some one with shoulders to lighten or load. I have done so much alone, had many solo adventures and am seldom lonely even when on the road for weeks and months. On my recent back pack of 2 weeks in the Sierra Nevada Range followed by 4 weeks van camping traveling over hill and dale I was lonely most of the time, a rare and unusual feeling for me. It might also be the time of year affecting us. You have in the past traveled in tandem with a good buddy with a rig, might be time to seek out such again. Whenever I randomly come across photos or vids of Foxy my sweet girl who went to the bridge 5 yrs ago it brings a smile and good feeling to see her again. I had the same feeling seeing your sweet Capone here. I hope when you see him you are able to smile and feel good at the sight. Take care of yourself while sorting out your new stage of life and travel.

I believe that Capone crossed the Rainbow Bridge to Heaven, where no animal is in pain or sick. A place where they can run and play to their hearts content. Cherish your memories and the pain that you feel will dull with time, but your love will continue forever! God Bless you!

Hello, sweet, independent, introspective deep thinker. I can't imagine myself feeling alone, there is so much in my life that demands attention, including just staring out at nature and reflecting. A human companion 24/7, no thank you, I'd get claustrophobic. Two pups are a lot of work and compromise, however they accept me exactly the way I am. Loved seeing handsome Capone footage to remind me of him and to just be. Thank you for sharing with us all.

Awhhh, it was great to see Capone. It’s been one year this week since I lost my Nonnikins. I saw Homer in the title and thought of Bob’s dog (before Cody). Nonni inherited his red coat. This was beautiful Carolyn. I can only imagine how tired you are, but thanks for sharing. The map was very helpful too. My nephew goes to Alaska every year and he can’t believe the changes he sees year to year. I can only imagine what the locals observe. Sad about the salmon not running. That’s huge!! I noticed you aren’t using your gopro holder. We are on our 4th one. You might be doing that for mobility. I wish they made one that swings AND was stable. Lol. Beautiful flowers and it was fun to see the glacier. I believe in premonitions. I’m glad you listen to yourself. Beautiful Capone. Okay crying now. Going to watch Nonni’s & Bentley’s tributes now to honor them. Damn. HugZ to you Carolyn.

The most beautiful part of Alaska....maybe. Those wild flowers and the glacier in the background! Tired is understandable, too. All the travel, filming, and midnight sun. Definitely the anxiety about leaving Capone and Phoenix alone for a whole day ....could have been a premonition. There were things your body and subconscious were aware of that your conscious mind was not ready to deal with yet. Wonderful video clips of Capone. Thank you........Carolyn, I hope you find what you need.

I really feel your pain. I know just how you feel. Have had many animals leave me. Some hurt more deeply than others as you may know. Crying helps a lot, as it brings us closer to our own heart & soul. Helps us to heal. Capone was such a beautiful cute dog, and I am sure he's right next to you at all times in his spirit form. I'm sure he wouldn't want you to cry, but instead is saying; "I'm here mom, I'm here!" "Come on lets go explore !" " You don't have to worry about leaving me behind anymore and no one can see me, but I'm right here". I don't believe they ever leave us. AND I know because you can't physically see or touch them, that it's not easy to grasp. I went thru it more times than I like, and it takes a while to understand that we are all spirit anyway. I'm new to your channel. Also a Californian.. I can relate to everything you've been thru and are now going thru. MAN oh MAN are you brave to take off in an RV with everything you own inside, and to share your heart & story. I pray peace & happiness & quick mend of your broken heart. Xx

Yeah... Yeah, love. I was thinking premonition about 60 seconds before you posted it. -I know you know but, doesn't hurt to say it again; you are so loved. Thank you for sharing so much with us. It's not always the sweetest of returns doing so but know that you are shifting lives with every video, every thought and every bit of energy you share. You're loved, appreciated and it's an honor being part of your journey if even so remote and from this distant vantage. Stay well and please take kind, loving care of yourself. 💗

Thank you for your laughter and Mr. Capone... I'll miss him from your future video's. You gave him the best last few months of his life. His spark is not gone from you and he will live on in your and our hearts.

What a blessing that you were able to have so many beautiful memories with Capone. And I believe you were having a premonition Carolyn. But you will be okay. I truly believe that just as you felt that, love is coming for tou❤️ It’s already in your heart ❤️

One more comment from me, as I've watched more of this video. First of all, your video quality is really, very good! Thank you for sharing Alaska, as I would love to see it. The music is beautiful. I believe the feelings you had were preparing you and Capone for separation. I truly believe that we will meet with all of our pets again in the afterlife. They are perfect and they will all be gathered to greet us, when we arrive. My Ivan is about 2 1/2, I am shaping my life around his needs, he has a huge issue with owner/separation anxiety. Right or wrong, I shape my life around hanging out with him. I so totally enjoy his company, it is not a sacrifice at all. I leave him for a a few hours at a time, but only for stuff that really has to be done. He is never more than a whistle away. After what seems like a lifetime of abandonment, he is my gift, just as Capone will always be yours.

I love how open you are! I miss Capone (I a actually crying for your pain). When my boy Zack left my heart tore into a thousand pieces. I held his collar and tried to keep it together. I was working as a traveler in Auburn with the meanest group of nurses ever - and my dog died. I had never felt so alone. I want you to know how much I appreciate your ability to share your feeling. You are an amazing woman. ( I left that assignment and worked with the most amazing nurses.)
