Probably one of the most genius crossover cameos I’ve ever seen. It is and yet it isnt Homer Simpson, and also is and isnt Dan Castelanetta.

The lack of a "Woo-hoo" after winning the case is very much cursed.

The fact they try and shame the performer for not taking breaks every 30 minutes and drinking water, this is why Disney and many other parks have "handlers" with their costumed mascots, because how is someone in a suit supposed to keep track of time? How are they supposed to drink water if they are never allowed to remove their head?

And here we are, 32 years later and Dan Castelanetta is still playing Homer Simpson, who would’ve thought, LOL

The fact it's really Dan voicing the suit version of Homer is even better.

Lionel Hutz: Oh sure, like lawyers work in big skyscrapers and have secretaries. (scoffs) Look at him, he’s wearing a belt. That’s Hollywood for ya.

I love the idea that someone had to make 12 giant foam Homer Simpson heads just so everyone in the jury could try one on for about a minute

The funny part is: Simpsons are NOT for kids. Sure, Nowadays its very mild and silly cartoon. But when It came out it wasn't considered like thag at all.

I love that even out of costume, he has that slight hint of Homer in his voice. He truly does love that character, and what it means to the people who love him.

This is honestly a brilliant way to have a cartoon character guest star on a live action TV show. I love that he's so committed to the role of Homer that he acts and talks exactly like him when he's in costume. The part where he falls off the chair and goes to the bathroom are hilarious. "I'm not finished!" "Neither am I. Pass me the sports section!" XD!

I knew it had to have been Dan doing the Homer voice, it sounded pitch perfect to be just an impersonator. But when HE walked out of the bathroom stall with the outfit in his hands, and then remarking with “It’s the greatest feeling in the world”, it shot this feeling of awe through me. I kept replaying the part because it didn’t just sound like a line from his character, (Mr. Champion) but rather something genuinely from him. Homer is one of the last characters I would expect to be shown love from people alike, but the appreciation for character actors’ roles (Dan Castelanetta as Homer, Charles Martinet as Super Mario, Tom Kenny as SpongeBob, etc.) really shows why a lot of these character actors seem as if they will never retire from the roles of these beloved characters. Because the love and appreciation they are shown, for characters they’ve created and loved to play as for years, decades even, really has to be “the greatest feeling in the world”.

This takes place shortly after homer is sucked into the Third dimension.

I remember watching this episode back when it first aired and thinking "this guy really sounds like the legit Homer Simpson".

This episode’s plot is reminiscent of an IRL court case involving Disney world and a cast member that played Tigger. As others have said before this was such a brilliant cameo.
