Those hot glue guns are perfect for placing and holding wires chips etc it’s works for mostly everything and it cleanly and easy to remove with no damage or melting to the wires or chassis

hippo4g93 yes hot glue is a great choice. I used the UV pen as I have a surplus of them. The UV pens are perfect for windshield glass in our customs.

I’ve pen I gotta look that up , yeah cannot use a hot glue gun for windscreens ! Man we in the caribbean HAVE to order everything from hotslots 1/32 or electric dreams , they ship world wide and boy have I wasted thousands on ordering wrong parts etc ! No hobby shops here I’ll look up a uv pen

so the Pioneer oem braids and wire connectors cant be used with this guide? you skipped all that.

No I didn’t skip it. I show using better wire and connections. That was the point. Ditch the stock and upgrade.

When you cut that guide post, are you trimming it flush, slightly above, or slightly below the opening on the Pioneer chassis?
@Homeracingworld3 жыл бұрын
Just a shade below but flush is ok. Just test as you go.

That dust on your back tires how do you go about cleaning it if your compound is sticky ? We use ( in the caribbean ) a rubbing alcohol/ mentholated spirits we call it !
@Homeracingworld4 жыл бұрын
hippo4g93 I have a sponge with alcohol/water mix for deglazing. For just dust like you see here, I just roll the tires over masking tape.

Do you actually leave that digital clip on the chassis door? I remove it, don't need it...
@Homeracingworld4 жыл бұрын
Doesn't bother me, sometimes I do, sometimes I forget. When I hardwire and use lead, I usually add in the bottom sir.

@@Homeracingworld...I always Shoo Goo a flat 12 gram wheel weight onto the chassis door. That's where I start...

@@Friskee62 You just grind the post melts and remove the clip correct? That's how I do it. I know some clubs do not allow anything under the chassis, but I go as low as I can around here. Interested in seeing some photos of your tuning sir, if possible. Thanks.

@@Homeracingworld...OK, on the tuning pics. I just use an xacto kinfe to cut the digital connector off, then sand as needed. We race no magnet, just weight and silicones, usually, depends on class. We have an 'open', class. We race 1/32, Carrera, Slot.it, Pioneer and Scalextric. And very soon, HO...
