Thanks for this...I'm still undecided on Language Arts. Have all my other curriculum ready to go. Do you start school after Labor Day or before?

I start the third Monday in August and end the Friday before Memorial Day. That is pretty much my local public school's calendar. We like to follow it so that my kids can play with their neighborhood friends on breaks and such.

Hi 👋🏼 What would you recommend for a struggling reader going into 4th grade? Have you found BJU to be enough to cover everything they need for Language Arts? Thank you 😊

BJU definitely does provide enough...I often find it too much! The first side of the daily assignment sheet is meant to be done together with you and the other side is their independent work.The two sides are intentionally similar so your child would have the familiarity of what you did together fresh in his/her mind before doing independent work. That should help as if reading directions and such is a bit of challenge.
