I am a mother of three; just doing my best to raise Godly children and find joy doing it. I am a busy wife as I strive to make intentional parenting my goal while making my relationship with my husband my priority. My passion is teaching and I find myself hoarding most teaching/office supplies in my closets. I am the creator of the Preschool With Me, distance learning preschool program. I love to teach the Gospel of Jesus Christ, my kiddos, and History. All my other interests can fit nicely into one word: Pinterest. I love baking, decorating, dreaming, making, free fun printables, motivational quotes, tips, tricks, and ideas by the millions. Lastly, I have an unwavering testimony of Jesus Christ and base my entire life around His Gospel; The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. This channel is dedicated first to my husband who is my better half and to my mother who inspired it all.

I grew up in IL and LOVED all the Lincoln stuff! His New Salem historic site & the Lincoln presidential museum were frequent field trips growing up! We don’t live in AZ now but my 6 year old is getting his first intro to my favorite president, Abraham Lincoln, in February ❤️

You should write a letter like monthly to each of your kids and mail it to them. You can also write to the animals, it has a pen pal section on their site.

I have a soon to be 2nd grader . I have not started history yet with him. I like the idea of the history pockets . Where should I start with the history pockets?

We did the Plymouth colony one and and it was a great introduction to early American settlements. I actually love teaching citizenship as an early history introduction. Although kindergarten level may be too young, I think the Little Thinkers have one for 1st grade which may be appropriate. You will LOVE IT! but be warned, spring (or maybe summer) suggests throwing a party at the end. I didn’t know that and my daughter read it. Being the social butterfly she is, she’s thrilled. As a closet introvert,that was a surprise. 🤣

Sounds about right. I got it on Amazon. It’s an investment for sure but I use it every year! I believe they have a website where you can buy the character books individually? I’ve seen it around though never looked into it.
