Love this! For my family, rather than doing anchor charts on a massive note pad (I have in the past) my kids actually make their own anchor charts on blank white paper/colored construction paper. Then they put them in a "portfolio folder" (buy at Dollarama) where the folder has a bunch of plastic sleeves that you slide the paper in. They build a sort-of anchor chart portfolio throughout the year that they can refer back to as much or as little as needed. It also helps them retain the information more because they are the ones making them rather than myself. It also saves my walls and home from looking like a classroom which is just my own personal preference.

I was pausing your video to see each part of your Thermodynamics anchor chart. I love how you brought out that the big bang is an example of how all matter came from nothing and therefore the creation of matter had to be supernatural. This is exactly how Christian parents should be teaching, relating the laws God put in place in nature to his creative acts. ❤

I actually got a big pad of easel paper from Ollies and do the kids spelling list. Definitely going to do more with other subjects. The note taking is a great idea also, will do this when they are older 😊

I love these for learning and teaching! I think about them as graphic organizers for the information. I also found making "anchor charts" on normal notebook paper can be less intimidating for perfectionist students or those who dont like drawing

Thank you for sharing another fabulous video!! I wanted to share the following. In the past I've used a clothing hanger rack and hooks to hang up anchor and pocket charts. Take care and happy homeschooling.
