Our mare, Sioux finally had her foal and it’s time for them to go back into the pasture! This is Lakota’s first time touching the grass, water or seeing the other horses.

Follow along with our family as we share our life events while living on our 168 acre homestead, farm and stables!
We are all about raising and training our horses, the Missouri Foxtrotter. Our goal is to bring awareness to this breed and showcase just how wonderful they are! We also raise and train our working border collie dogs. And don’t forget the homesteads sheep, goats and mini cattle!!! We also go to occasional auctions and recently have gotten into regenerative farming/agriculture. We are all about learning how to improve our fields/soil.

Almost took my breath away when Chablis and Rain ran alongside each other. They are so beautiful with their heads held high. Sioux and Lakota as well! This is a gorgeous setting for these lovely mommas and their babies - almost brings tears to my eyes. Peaceful and uplifting.

For being a first time momma, Sioux is doing great keeping Lakota safe. It's wonderful to see them running through the field and Lakota experiencing a whole new world of being outside. Lakota exiting the corral and the creek crossing... what a brave boy! I can hardly wait to see the foals playing together and creating a lasting bond! This video brought me joy; and yes, Bekha is an awesome helping hand and horsewoman! Not only is she a natural, but is being taught by the best! Btw, how is sweet Oliver? 🦋💜💜💜💜💜💜💜🦋

Becka is doing great, a natural! It is so funny to watch the new interactions. Everyone is moving in their own family bubble for now, super protective of their own space.. I love watching little Lakota stretch those legs! Both Sioux and Chablis are being good, protective moms, but I think they'll let the babies play soon. I really want to see the foals together. I'm betting they're the same size despite the difference in age! Yes, Becka is great help, and a talented horsewoman in her own right. One of the things I enjoy about your channel is the way your family works in unity. It's beautiful --- a real blessing in today's world!

Becca is awesome help! You can tell how much she loves the horses & her Dad. It didn’t look like Sioux got much grazing in because she was so busy being a protective Momma.
