They might not the exact ones anymore because they are transitioning to FW21 BUT i have a feeling they’ll bring back the pants during SS22, not guaranteed though. I don’t see why not since a lot of these fast fashion brands tend to make cheaper alternatives of designer brands and Homme plisse’s are the only wearable pants during spring/summer cause it’s sooo light.

Had the Zara pants for awhile and decided to pick up Homme Plisse yesterday. The quality is insane on homme plisse and i dont regret purchasing it

I completely feel you wanting to save the money, but you gotta mention, my guy, the fact that Issey Miyake himself designed the specific polyester Homme Plisse uses, FROM THE MOLECULAR LEVEL NO LESS, to retain the pleats and resist wrinkles FOREVER. The man was everything from a fashion desogner to a molecular chemist! That's what you're paying for with Homme Plisse- proprietary textiles designed to withstand the abuses of wear and time, all while feeling as comfortable and natural on your skin as a organix fabric, as well as perfect drape(with the right size/fit) and cut to meet the specifications of a true master. Me, personally, fpr those who might be into the Zaras, I'd say wait, save up, it's worth it. I have a pair from the 80's and they are indistinguishable from the pair i bought last year. Permanent luxury.

@@gfs5843 To each their own and i think it's a valid point to make! I say if you really are into quality get the homme plisse's! If you're on a budget and want to get a cheaper alternative, get the zara's! As long as if the individual is happy then that's all that matters!

Ive been debating these for a fat minute, especially cause im on the shorter side and i tried them on and they run kinda long, but i think im gonna cop and take em to the tailor. Was literally looking in zara yesterday! Good video bro!

Are these zara alternatives still available in the US?

@@ohexchaned6644 That i unfortunately don't know. I think it would be considered "small" or a size 28-30? Japanese sizing is different and should be converted to European sizing!

How are the pockets on the Zara one? I heard they are kind of shallow. Also, have you tried the river island or other brands with plisse pants?

Pockets are definitely shallow! I would always have to put my phone in one pocket and keys in the other. Even with my Homme Plisse's i try not to put anything in my pockets cause it's very noticeable especially with the texture of the pants so i try to always bring a bag to carry my stuff!

i think i talked to you on instagram? But if anyone is in the same boat, it depends on your style, cropped maybe 2, baggy would be 3. I would measure your length of your ideal pants and the ideal leg opening to see what you prefer!

Nope! The size I got was perfect. Sometimes when I want it to sit up more, I lift the pants up past my waist

@@dreamie9868 Washed it and it did shrink by a little bit. Still feels the same for me. I wouldn't be surprised if these did fall apart but i think if you really see yourself wearing these for years, i say get the real homme plisse's!

Unfortunately, i don't think Zara is selling the pants anymore. Uniqlo made some for women that fit pretty cool for men but the problem is the material is too light to the point where it's kind of visible

@@chrismitsos6817 love that idea. I’ll make a video about it! There are subtle differences and with Zara being an international brand and having a larger reach, I feel like it would be risky. I wouldn’t be surprised if they attempted to do it though lol

@@MarkReyesCayabyab someone told me that the quality is not even close. To be honest I just saw the Zara pleats a few days ago in Zara and was quite shocked at how nice they look. I'm sure the quality is not the same though.

@@chrismitsos6817 it’s definitely not the same. The homme plisse’s are lighter and feel more delicate as opposed to the Zara option. I’ll do a video soon especially with summer here, it’s definitely a better choice of pants compared to chinos
