It’s not the speakers fault. She didn’t make the rules of the House. The speaker herself in her personal capacity is a Christian.

Talking is free. What is Binwell doing to correct the issues? Why can’t he report erring individuals rather than wasting time lamenting. The problem with MPs is that they want to control the CDF money like it’s their personal money.

But to choose to be a praise singer is sometimes sinking low . You can't hear the exploitation by these trade skills institutions and you can't hear the need to build capacity of the local councils and expand on the human resource especially where a city like Nkana handles five constituencies as highlighted. You can't hear how for example the community suggest that they need a clinic but the other ministry say no let us have this . Anyway you are free to yunda the way you want after all that is the work of the praise singer. Even on logical things its important to lose mind and praise as opposed to help out sort things together. Kuyeya komwe nakumbi ciita , Mwami Leza aliike .

@@Twasubuka In the same way you are claiming that you cannot hear this and that is the same way those who see some positive things are seeing things. It’s called perspective. Personally I don’t care whether someone is a praise singer for upnd or ecl I listen to both sides and if there is substance I stand with them and if they are politicking I offer checks and balances. Btw - we have freedom of speech in Zambia so those of you who think calling someone a praise singer is a way of demeaning them you’re just wasting your time. Let us disagree without being disagreeable. That is maturity!

It’s not UPND. It’s a rule of the Assembly. The rule was there even during Speaker Matibini’s era. At that time we even had ministry of religion but were also not allowed to quote verses

Let other religions quote from their books too. Moreover, we are a Christian nation and we shouldn't be ashamed to preach , quote or share the word of God anywhere. Without God in parliament there will only be confusion and no direction
