I have owned one for 4 months now and it still gets the adrenaline going and just got a quick shift mounted to day. It’s like getting a new bike and just makes it so much more fun to ride😂 Great video 👌🏻

Great video, I have a CB500 that looks very similar and I love it, my only criticism which I think is the same on the bike you're testing is the indicator switch placed at the bottom where the horn would normally be, I don't know why after all these years Honda put them the other way round, very confusing. The amount of times I've pressed the horn when intending to put the indicator on 😕🙂

I'm liking this one Kaz and giving it some serious thought , I've never been overly keen on the more modern angular styled bikes but this one does appeal and the price is very good not sure if I would bother with the quick shifter as I have never tried one out but the weight and power are easily enough for me in fact it is very close to the same ponies as my XJR 12 which I won't part with although it gets heavier every year 😉👌👍Nice !

Yes, the hornet is a very good all round bike, great around town and on open roads too, I was very sad when this bike went back!

I'm looking to downsize to a so called middle weight within weeks.. Was looking with much interest at the Sv 650 for its lack of electronics and v twin thing. So very nice to see a lady rider review here for a change, and riding in the real world. You've got me seriously interested in the new Hornet. Thanks BikerKaz

I can definitely recommend a test ride, Charles, I think the Hornet is a cracking bike, fun to ride and it’s a twin too 🤩 if you get a test ride, let me know what you think, I’d be interested to hear 👍

@@BikerKazZ Many thanks Indeed. Why not. I really hadn't thought of checking out the Honda. I will set up a ride on one a.s.a.p. I tend to make decisions albeit on sometimes. My main issue would be how soon could delivery be expected in the South West. I need it to commute more than anything else. Your an inspiration. Thank You BikerKazZ ☯

If they Discontinue the SV 650 there Could be some Discounting to Clear Stocks to make way for the GSX8S you might get a good Deal Charles

@@BikerKazZ Thank You. I will be delighted to let You know what I think of the Hornet. I once loaned a friends 4 cylinder in slightly odd circumstances. Ended up riding it off Moorland and onto the highway, It felt very easy to handle, and rather light and nimble. Thank You for broadening my horizons.🌍

Seriously considering between one of these and a late model Z900(that I can get familiar with in rain mode initially) as my first big bike having recently passed.

Congratulations on passing your bike test, that’s brilliant 🤩 I have a 2017 Z900 but this doesn’t have modes and I do love this bike, I have been touring on this too, such a great versatile bike 🏍 As a first big bike, I would probably go with the Hornet but would suggest test riding both bikes to see which suits you and your riding style the best. Let me know what you decide, I’d be interested to hear 😎

Buzzing about on the Hornet. How will it Compare to the New Suzuki GSX8S? is the Question for me Had a Go on the 750 Hornet it sounds great

Yes I am Hoping to get a Go on the Suzuki at Motorcycle world Northampton..its a Bit Heavier than the Honda..and a Fair bit more than My Kawasaki Z650 we will see

Think Honda are going to take a massive chunk of sales away from the successful MT07. Its also more powerful than the new GSXS-8S and cheaper. Doesn't look big enough for a large 6ft 3" person like me.

@@Banditmanuk I didn't think You were Mexican or out of one of them movies of old. I bought this Bandit right on the spur of a moment and purely impulse. I adore the smooth power, absolute easy at which higher speeds are reached. Being a little too tall for me doesn't inspire confidence. When You have a heavier bike and all. Glad you've enjoyed Bandits in the past.
