Ball joint pull out is usually due to poor maintenance. It happens on Toyota's a lot too, when poorly maintained.

Useful and very helpful tips. my fuel pumps boils a lot and erupts oil which spills out. could it be as result of steering rack or the pump itself?
@techloam
@techloam Жыл бұрын
Do you mean steering pump or fuel pump? I guess you mean steering pump. I guess you are referring to the boiling sound from the steering pump when the ATF is very low. Yes, if the fluid spills to a certain level the boiling sound gets louder and louder. You may have to put some ATF to see if the steering is stiff, if it's not then the pump is not bad yet. If you check and see that the rack is spilling some fluid then the rack seals needs to be changed. Sometimes the pipes related to the steering might be bad and leaking so you might need to trace the fluid leakage from any of those pipes and change accordingly.

Owk Great content sir. You made mention about the breaks, I am currently experiencing a very poor breaking system, de breaks are very soft and they don't catch easily, please what do I do
@techloam
@techloam 2 жыл бұрын
There is a seal in the master break that when it gets weak it starts to feel that way. I will recommend you change the master break toa new one instead of trying to change the seal. You may not get a good one. Sometimes the inner side of the master tube might be worn out also. The best bet is to change the master break.
@techloam
@techloam Жыл бұрын
I had that issue too. I changed the master break. That stuff under the break fluid cup or tank. Don't try to fix it by changing the rubber stuffs inside. Just change it to a new one. Although I got a new one that latter started leaking beneath the cup so I went to the old one and took the cup from there to replace the new one and until now, am good.

My EOD v4 2004 car once I switch on the a/c and I load the gear to reverse the rpm drops below 1 and the car starts vibrating what could be the cause mind you have changed the plugs serviced the nozzle
@techloam
@techloam Жыл бұрын
When the A/C is activated, the compressor comes on until the car is cool to the set temperature then it goes to idle mode, meaning that the compressor stops by means of thermostat. When the compressor is active the engine does more work to move the car and compressor at the same time. The extra vibrations could be due to damaged engine sittings. For the RPM, that is due to the stress on the engine. There is more load to drive.

Does the ball joints give any signs b4 pulling out?. Or it Just pull out without giving any warning signs
@techloam
@techloam 2 жыл бұрын
I have asked many technicians this question. Some will tell you that it doesn't give any warnings and some will tell you it makes some cracking sound when you are making a turn. On youTube some will say it makes some clicking sound when you enter a gallop. I have never experienced the ball joint failure. In fact, I am so mindful of it that I always check them whenever some work is being done on the lower arms.

It actually gives a sign, when you turn your wheel it makes a creeking sound and when you enter a gallop it makes a clicking sign, people who say it gives no sign are not honda mechanics. As preventative maintenance anytime you change your oil ask your mech to check it. Also there are Chinese and original ball joint, the Chinese one pull easily but the original one is around 7 to 8k.

@@Delight.AutoCRAFTThis was very informative thanks for this. Also, what do you think about those mechanics that claim to be able to tack the ball joint to prevent pulling. Do you think it's wise? I'd like to hear your thoughts. Thanks
@Delight.AutoCRAFT
@Delight.AutoCRAFT Ай бұрын
@@Wils0n_no, it's not wise. The heat from tacking will dry up the grease in the ball joint. I only advise it if the ball joint hole are now too loose

I just got this car 2 days ago, I'm aware of the ball joint issues but I still went ahead because that what I can afford.. so how have you used the car without having the ball joint issues?
@techloam
@techloam Жыл бұрын
I am always mindful of unnecessary vibrations when driving the car and while fixing them I always check the ball join. I have some sort of consciousness towards that stuff.
