Very useful video. I had same lock issue with my Honda 2005 model and after watching this video I got the issue solved without the intervention of any electrician. The fuse was cut and i changed it. Thanks so so much for video. It's top notch! 👍

Thank you so much I had same problem. I checked the fus 10 amp and it was melt and separate, so i put new one and the door lock start working!! Thank you again

Great video bro. I have a 1996-2000 Honda Civic EJ9, key fob remote aint locking or unlocking the doors and the driver door key hole lock isnt turning so not unlocking or locking using the key in the door key hole lock too. I have sprayed the key hole lock in the door with brake cleaner and then with white lithium grease spray and worked the key in the lock to get the lithium grease into the lock barrel but still no luck, please help bro 😢

As you have talked about back up fuse #7. I replaced it and problem solved for a month or so. Now same problem is back. I thought I can follow the same procedure, but problem remains. It did NOT work this time. Any suggestions?

my problem is that all my doors lock and unlock just fine, but the driver side doesn’t unlock at all, and even if i try to get out i have to hold the lock up and open the door

Hey would you know how to fix the locks when I unlock the car all the locks unlock then lock again. The driver door won’t unlock at all. Any info would help thank you

@OptamysticOne you might need to have it scanned but you can check the fuses, one of you door switches may be bad or a loose connector. Thanks for watching please Like, Share and Subscribe if you haven't already

The door button is working but the key fob is not working. So according to the video the backup fuse next to door lock fuse need to be replaced?

Try using a screwdriver to hold the outer part of the lock cylinder while turning the key and see if that works. Thanks for watching please Like, Share and Subscribe if you haven't already

My remote only works like 2 inches away from the car what could be wrong i changed the battery in the keyfob
