Just playing around with the Alexa and Google Assistant apps on the Accord Hybrid Touring, showing some of the differences between the two. The Google Assistant app is only available on the Touring trim while Alexa is available on all hybrid trims.

Yes, you have access to both Google Assistant and Amazon Alexa on the Touring Accord.

I just logged in with my google account. I haven't had the issue but will research and make a video if i found a work around

Activate your google account in your phone, then open google in the car. It will give you link, your your phone camera in the code, then they will link it to the car, and they will let you know in your phone it is done

Google gives you more access to the vehicle settings and options.

I would have to play around more and do some further research to see what would cause it or what's shared. I just connected and pkayed around with the short amount of time that I had.

It's hard to know without seeing it. I would try it again after turning off and on the vehicle

Hey, I have the same issue. It just stopped working. I took it to the Honda dealer, but they don't accept that there's an issue with the system. They keep telling me that I need to purchase a plan from AT&T, which is a hotspot plan. That's not what I was promised. I thought this car came with 3 years of free data. Have you been able to find a solution?

I don't see the point of any of this. All the things demonstrated here can be done much faster and easier by simply pressing the buttons. Using Alexa or "Hey Google" is clumsy and slow.
