In our second attempted to shut off the P0420 check engine light code, we go ahead and change out the catalytic converter on the '02 Acura RSX. I'll show you all the steps, tools and procedures involved in order to change out a catalytic converter on a Honda/Acura.

I'm having a hard time connecting my cat to the header. Pushing the bolts through is extremely tough. Did you encounter this problem during your install or was it easy?

Strange. Are the holes not drilled large enough for the header to cat connecting bolts? Mine bolted up just fine thankfully

@@randomrebuilds So the previous owners put a k20a3 in my type S. I have a feeling they used a k20a3 header as well. Connecting to the type S cat may be causing an issue. If it seemed overall easy for you I think the header piping is not long enough so I'll need to swap the header too. I'm not 100% sure the header is k20a3 but I bought a k20a2 header anyway so I guess we'll see 😄

It is a pia bolting to a stock header, the springs make it almost impossible a c clamp can help get one side started
