love the honda whipper snippers. a little heavier but they run great. good to have all equipment in 4 strake as well

Honda sells a "blade barrier kit" with adapter pieces & a well designed shoulder-back harness with quick release on right side. Get the 10" 50T blade from Honda as it is a quick cut in brush and tall grass. The blade demonstrated here is best for saplings, etc. Stay clear of concrete and rocks with the 10" Honda blade. Let the Honda motor warm up before you start with higher rpm as this wears the piston rings out prematurely. Suggest if you do not use the 35cc for extended times you better add some gas stabilizer to keep the carb running smoothly.

Honda certainly makes awesome mowers, love our HRU216. The handhelds though here in Australia are extremely expensive for the power and performance, and they are super heavy compared to the more traditional 2 strokes and even the Stihl hybrid 4-Mix range which I have a couple of bits from. Also I strongly advise against using tools like this shirtless, its very unsafe and pretty cowboyish imho ;)

Hi. That first pull was too aggressive, Honda recommends pulling gently and not letting the starter grip go. It could damage the starter.

Where do you buy the blade you are using and does it fit on the string trimmer attachment, or is it a separate attachment? Thank you for your time. Richard

I’ll stick with my Stihl 240.
