Bangalore on-road price is 3.46L. It’s bit expensive for a locally manufactured vehicle and when you compare it with BMW G310R. Never thought Honda would price it above BMW.

..the most striking thing about this bike is the weight !! Or should I say the lack of it !! At only around 146 kg ( r15 is 142 kg despite being a 155cc), this is the lightest bike in its class !!😍😍, this magic can only be created by the Honda, best in class power to weight ratio, smoothest engine, rock solid reliability and longevity. ......buttttttt !! The pricing of 2.77 lack ex showroom is not acceptable😥😥, when they first launched this bike in 2019 it was only 2.41 lack ex. Despite of it being a ckd unit, and now since its locally made then I was expecting a price reduction but they increased it instead !!!😥😥😥...why Honda why !!???? Such a huge bump in pricing just cos u provided it with a slipper clutch and painted the forks in gold !!!!😡😡😡😠😠

Let's hope that our legend CBR 150R returns 🙏

Dino sir the younger siblings of CB300R, CBR250R easily touch 150kmph and that an 8 years old. And now feeling proud of my bike and hope Honda will continue again CBR 250r in India 🥺❤️❤️

Main reason for lacking attention of this bike is price, hornet 2.0 doesn't sell well because of the price too. Looks is subjective but retro nio design is not the taste of the masses, now days people bought performance machine for outing, it might be long or short but very few people bought a performance machine for daily use, a tank of 9.5 litre is too low, I think these reasons may affect the sells figure of the bike.

I like the way Honda designs their motorcycles. Simple design and class looks. They have addressed all (almost except price) issues w.r.t the older model. Should have been a sub 3 lakh bike on road. As usual Dino's reviews are always top notch..thank you.

If only Honda had rolled it at a sensible price, this would have been a superstar.

I own a 2022 CB300R ABS, love my bike but I want the 4cyl sound ..but I love CB bikes...I want the CB650R but its harder to find in the US. The CB300R is all over the place here though as far as availability at the dealerships. New they go for just $5000 USD, I got my 2022 used (1000mi only) for $3750.

man this is a bit frustrating. you call your self an auto journalist and you just praise all the motorcycle you ride. I know each bike is great on their own. maybe you like all the bikes you ride but nothing is perfect and there is nothing like bad bike also. but you should also consider adding some negative points too. in here you miss to compare the price Honda launched this bike at this competitive segment. this bike is great but there are few of the bikes that offers lot more in similar price. don't take this as hate comment or anything. Hey Dino this bike is great n all with some shortcomings. But for me i really am waiting for the Apache 310 RTR naked. Hope this Honda launch rings a bell for TVS making them launch that naked 310 as soon as possible before any other lined ups. Excited to see the 310 naked go head to head with the CB 300r

Nice bike, but the tank is too small. It needs AT LEAST one more gallon (and keep the wet weight the same, without increasing).

I bought the 2022 model, I have done 1600km, the bike drives well in the city. I still haven't requested all the engine revs from the bike, I feel that the engine is melting, one thing that perplexes me is the gear ratios, first gear is too short and it's useless.. I always start in second, sixth and probably also the fifth are too short, in general I find that the distribution of ratios is wrong. I'm only seeing this aspect now and I never thought that Honda would make such a big mistake? I thought I bought a rationally designed bike, I'm not interested in trends.

In that price range I would opt for the bmw g310r

Honda has the best engineers but the worst pricing strategists and marketing teams. You launched this bike at a super premium ex-showroom cost of 2.7 lakh!! Are you guys living under a rock?? KTM is offering similar powered bikes with coloured TFT and other fancy features at a much less price, TVS is offering the same features with a more powerful engine at a cheaper price, and BMW is also doing the same!! All these competitors have eaten Honda alive, but the Honda management is so stupid that they cant see it!! Now, after 1 year, Honda slashed the price of this bike by 37k, but by now the damage has been done. All those who would have bought this bike upon launch opted for other brands, and Honda is eating the dust because of its poor pricing and sales strategy.

One question I have. 350rs and 300r price difference is huge why should people go for smaller cc bike with bigger cost. And if I am not wrong back side is much similar with 350rs. Can you share your opinion. Don't you think in which price they have launched this it will be flop again. Bcz we have already 350 and 350 rs. Love from kolkata Dino bhai. ✌

The 471cc is a much better choice in my opinion. You can get a great used one for the price of a new 286cc.

With little bucks extra , Kawasaki ninja 300 with parallel twin engine , 17 litre tank makes it sensible to buy over this puny 300 cc single cylinder engine with 9.7 litre tank !!

If Honda got the price some where between 2 to 2.2 Lak price, this would be a killer price for both Duke250, FZ250, Gixer 250 of its segment cease the top place, which was once owned by the legendary CB250R. This price bracket now hits a different competitors where they offer twin for the price (around 3 Lak) Ninja300 and Interceptor.
