slight correction. 1. split seats can not be separated like enfield, its one unit only. 2. Its exactly 2 inch long for total lengh. 3. Grab rail is also different i.e. bigger by 2inch in length but obviously with same screw fitting position. 4. one may check, it may come without helmet lock if purchased from market.

For 2 inches extra we have to pay 3700. Its your choice. Most of the guys who have replaced it say its a little better for long rides though. Wait for a month and then if you still want to change, then it could be done.

Yes there is blind spot in mirror. I rode my new hiness on highway 1st time today. And sometimes vehicles were coming right next to me, which were completely invisible in mirror....

Suggest honda to provide the touring for a little extra money. Bcuz it does nt make sense keeping two seats . give choice to customers at buying time touring seat or single seat

Absolutely right. Rather they should provide the split seat by default. Also those short sized rear view mirrors and short front mudguard should be rectified by Honda ASAP. Also they should provide Unicorn style Horn indicator switch and those fork gaitors should come prefitted. Currently the fitting charges for the fork gaitors are more than the cost of the accessory itself... which is ridiculous. Also Honda sevice centers should charge on job basis and not on hourly basis.

May be the engine guard is designed that way cause the engine is not oil/ liquid cooled, having a fully covered engine guard may heat up the engine.

Length of the split seat will be increased by nearly 2 inches... Plus the grab rail will move back by an inch or so.... So the pillion will get more space to sit if we use split seat... I hav done for my highness and i am satisfied..

This might be a reason. But generally bash plate is fitted slightly below the engine not in front of it.

Yes. This installation cost is separate from service charge. I also got most of them installed during my first service.

Honestly speaking bro. I didn't like the film much as it really hampers the looks. I will remove it after some time. Tank pad is good, u can install it if u are not installing film. Fork gaters are used to protect the shock absorbers from the dust and dirt. its not a must accessory

The crash guard(leg guard) & the engine guard seem pretty useless in case of a fall or impact from pebbles. The crash guard gives zero protection to the rider & doesn't look like it will do much in protecting the bike as well, the tank will take the hit pretty hard in case of a crash, it should have been wider by at least 3-4 inches & adding extra footrests on them for touring would be nice.

In my opinion, this is the best bike for city commute in its genre. Though it's good on highway too, it's ultra light clutch & easy maneuverability makes it best city machine. Please note that I'm comparing it with bikes of similar genre.

Generally they do not fit accessories at showroom. You will have to go to service centre for insallation of accessories and yes they charge installation cost

I had to go to service centre 2 times as all the accesories were not available during my first service. I got 3 accessories with in 10 days at the time of first service and rest 2 after 1 month. Total instsllation cost was rs 1326.

At 1:35 you can see the discoloration at the silencer just at the point where it meets the engine. This same problem is there on my bike too. What can we do to avoid that problem. Have you talked to the honda guys if not please do check it and give me some rigid solution to that.

Actually i spoke to the service centre guys about this and they said sir its completely normal. However, they also said that there are some products in the market which remove this but im also not sure to use them. i will again try to know a product from them & will convey to you.

Sir if u are asking about removing the back seat, then it's not possible as it is a single seat. If u are asking about back seat comfort, i would say it's okay, not as good as rider's seat comfort.

@@bhart610 then it will be fine for you bro..i went to book it..but height issue was there..also big wing showrooms bss ek hai meri city me wo bhi door..service me bhi problem hogi...test drove meteor..ab vhi book krne ki soch rha...its as smooth as honda..service bhi better hai aur mere paas options bhi nai koi
