Congratz for the purchase, it's a really cool machine. About the windshield, It's not the easiest thing to install but it shouldn't be too hard if you're patient. Be careful with the dash screws, some motorcycles have them really tight, I used a torx head and I had no problems but I've seen people ruining the screws using hex. Best of luck to you ✌

Hello Eros, this shield is mainly for aesthetics, it might redirect a bit of the wind and perhaps make it a little bit less turbulent but don't expect to notice a huge difference. Thanks for the kind words and ride safe ✌

Hey Tiago, The procedure depends on the type of bracket you get, some brackets are simpler and don't require the headlight to come out, the one I got does. Thanks for your feedback anyway 👍

Hello. I believe I used the T40 torx head because I didn't find the right size hex head. Did this help you?

So I just went to check the screw head and you really have to use the T40 head, any hex/allen head will not fit properly.

Quanto à tua dúvida, depende do defletor e das peças que ele tem para montagem. Penso que há uns mais simples que não te obrigam a remover o farol, de qualquer forma, este tipo de suporte que vês no video, parece-me mais seguro. Quanto ao tempo de instalação ou número de passos, eu digo-te que não é assim tão difícil, tenta é deixar uma manhã ou tarde livre para poderes fazer tudo com calma. Espero ter ajudado amigo ✌

Mostly the looks in my opinion, the wind protection is basically none.

On the 2022 CB650R - installation of the windsheild eliminates a high pitch whistle created by the dash when travelling upwards of 40mph. Worth it imo

Hello Gary, I don't know for sure if the steps are exactly the same but I wouldn't think they differ all that much. The windshield I bought came with instructions, maybe you can follow the instructions that come with yours and refer to this video to see if it can help you at any point. I think you're referring to the year of the motorcycle, in that case the bike is the 2020 model although the process is the same for the 2021 year version.

Hey my friend, I do not speak German but I've used Google to translate it. I took out the headlight because the bracket that came with my windshield screws to a panel behind the headlight. I know that not all windshields come with that bracket and for some cases in fact you don't need to remove the headlight. I hope it helps you.

This is wrong! When disconnecting, disconnect the negative first (black here). When connecting, connect the positive first (red here).

No it is always black first, i have the manual of this bike at the moment . . .

Hey Jonas, I know some of these windshields come with alternative brackets that are indeed easier to install but that's not the case for everyone nor was mine. Maybe you could skip one or two steps, but for the sake of completion I decided to include every step mentioned in the official Honda installation guide. Thanks for the feedback, ride safe.

@@ChillMotoRides Just a lot of steps required to install a windshield is all, on my old bike it's like 4 bolts in total 🤣

To be fair I think the bracket I got is the hardest to install. There are other versions of these brackets that are fairly easier to install (you won't need to remove the headlight). Anyway, it takes time but it's not really hard to do. 😅
