I got the black and red one in April & 2000 miles later absolutely love it. Sensible when you want it to be but stick her in sport & she goes like a good un! Really pleased with my purchase!

Just put the money down for a white-red. By far the nicest color I think. Really love it.

I test rode one today in very windy weather and I was really surprised how composed it was in that wind! I have owned 26 bikes in my time, this Hornet was pretty hard to fault honestly. I found the throttle absolutely fine. For a naked the wind blast was ok. Great bike!

I'm picking mine up tomorrow. Looking forward to it. I've had loads of bikes including 06 Fireblade, 2019 CB1000r. I fancied something light and flickable. This ticks the boxes for a decent road bike. There is more to the TFT screen. Press and hold the toggle switch to the right. You then open up the menus for various options on the bike, including: screen layout Quickshifter sensitivity User mode set up Plus loads more set up options Cheers

Yeah being a old biker in my sixties own a 400 FOUR SUPER SPORT im looking for a every day commuter fun bike im going test ride this bike ticks many boxes for me cheers for the review fellas.

Im in the process of getting my license at the age of 40. I've looked at so many bikes that i like and want, and I've landed on the Hornet. I think it'll be a great first bike and i cant wait to fet one.

Cool wrap up, thanks. Very interesting. I only got to ride one for 30 minutes in a city. How bad is the throttle is slow traffic in the middle mode, is it bit jerky? How did the shock stand up to some hard cornering? I have heard it gets sketchy if pushed. Was it damped ok? the CB50s are a bit trashy through bumps. Also is the quick turning front less stable in fast corners? Finally the big question, have you ridden the GSX 8S and how do they compare? Thanks again.

Looking at it seems so similar to the CB650F. How does it compare to the 4 cil? Check your dB meter when you put music, it's so loud that at the minimum volume it's just noise. I don't fancy the looks, the exhaust must not hide any part of the rear wheel. The GSX8S is my favourite of the two for the looks. The bike world suffered greatly for the pandemic so development slowed a lot. Expect most of the future offerings range in the 80s +-10 cv and slight variations on the two parallel cylinder engines. Emissions are much easier to meet with bigger cylinders. That's why most car makers are going back from downsizing the engines and instead make undersquare 500cc cylinders with less cylinders. The Audi 5 cyl is a 2004 project, I think it has no place in the market as it doesn't compete for power, the packaging is nothing special, it doesn't have the power delivery nor the torque. For a sports car engine is quite dull. V6s are basically dead unless you are talking about supercars. We live in a world where a 3 cyl has 200hp and a 1.6 has 270hp, and they are both old engines. As the car market basically dies cause of the marketing ans SUV/comfort craze I'm moving towards the bikes even though I don't have a license and I'm 38. I had a competition spec Beta Trial 2 strokes 125 when I was a kid. Driving in the traffic is completely different than driving in the woods. I think I'd have to pic a 125 to learn.

Thanks so much for your Hornet impressions. At the moment I'm having to make do with the vicarious experience from all the Hornet content available since they are not yet for sale in the US but unless I hate it in person (doubtful) this will likely be my next bike. Since I'm going to have to wait till 2024 I'm also hoping Honda will refine the throttle mapping and (fingers crossed) add cruise control!

I bought the grey Hornet and removed all the stickers (fuel, tire pressure, yellow! „Hornet“, „CB 750“…) and it looks now clean and unobtrusive. I would like to buy the Hornet (insect) sticker in silver instead of the word Hornet. I would like to hear about someone who mounted a short license plate holder.

Hi can i ask your honest opinion. I am torn between the Hornet, the new Suzuki and the new MT07. I always loved the MT07 especially the sound with an exhaust. However, i know the MT07 is down on power and the handling is soft and not great when compared to newer bikes. Can i ask your honest opinion on how these three compare in terms of power, feel, handling etc and which you would recommend. 👍👍

I think if you need a slightly taller Hornet 750 your answer is the Suzuki GSX8S to be honest! Haven't ridden either bike but I recently had a demo ride on the V-Strom 800 and that was a really great bike to ride, I'm 6'2 though and I found myself on the balls of my feet if I wanted to get both down!

Which better Hornet or Suzuki gsx8s ??

Mentioning this bike creating a dilemma I was looking at a used mt07 and you're looking 6k for a 2020 with 5k on the clock. And now I can buy this for 7k brand new i can't justify buying a mt07 anymore.

My favourite myst be the Ducati Supersport 950

The impression I get by listening to people review this bike is that it's a lot like my 390 Duke just bigger with a much bigger better motor. I really do like my 390 Duke but it's a little lacking in power and some situations.(over 75 mpph) but it really is a hoot to ride. Certainly not a relaxing ride, it is high strung and very sensitive to rider input.

When it comes to performance you can't beat UNICAM engine, and the Hornet is inspired by the CRF450r. Best bike for the money end of 👍
