The blackbird loves how you are riding there, thats what it was born for. Anything less and he gets grumpy and gets warm and gets a fever:)

I seriously thought he was in 5th gear at 250km/hr and it turned out to be 4th. 3rd and 4th gear on the blackbird are absolutely insane. I'm talking 30-40 to 120-150 it's actually incredible

My guess is on the blackbird it calculates the kp/h speed from the engine RPM, so you're actually going the same speed and only rpm is changing. Quite funny to see :).

Yes you can always hear that effect with a bike on the circuit. Superbike or Gp Weird that its sudge a big difference in rpm

Actually, since the speed isn't GPS, they are directly coupled. Only possibility for the two changing in relationship to each-other is clutch slip .... or miscalculation by the electronic modules (possibly due to voltage fluctuations).

That's a pretty interesting phenomenon, makes perfect sense of course, since motorcycle tires are rounded and not "square" like car tires.

it sounds, like you could recommend this bike. I love the kawa and honda engines, run great, but Honda is somehow a little smoother than the rivals. want to buy a xx for 2021. 25k miles is not much for her, right?

@@Endzeit2014 2021 ???? They don't make the XX anymore !!!! 25K is nothing for that 4 cyl as long as it was maintained well. Oil changes are a must and on record, if he has those. Also, check the clutch is not slipping. Good luck.

die X11 sieht man nur sehr selten. Aber die Super Blackbird ist auch schöner mit der Verkleidung :)

@@MotoMika ich hab ne x11 finde sie nackt tatsächlich schicker... Wie alles im Leben Geschmackssache. Tatsächlich sieht ne X deutlich schicker aus wenn man Sie ein kleines bisschen an den richtigen Stellen modifiziert ;) zum Beispiel den mülligen Kennzeichenhalter und die LKW Blinker Recyceln .... gescheite pötte drauf und alles etwas aufhübschen...💪

I always l I loved honda products. Last one I had was in 90s cbr 929rr. It between this and h2. But I think the blackbird is a better overall bike. Have you rider a h2 and inch y I u prefer and why? Thx

I only have ridden the H2 SX. The Superblackbird looks way better, but H2 SX has way better technology :)

Strange that engine temp on dash reduces steadily as the Bird sustains top speed and revs out. Is this due to the airflow over the engine/radiator. Surly this can be the only explanation? Was it freezing that day?

when the bike stands still it heats up a lot. above 100°C. If you ride at least at highway speeds it cools down due to better cooling with air flow

while standing the engine gets really hot, because of the fairing around. Also in winter in the city it gets more than 100 °C. But while driving it gets cooled by the wind

Have exactly the same, only had it a couple of months through winter and after 35 years in a car it takes a bit of getting used to but what a forgiving beast, been the dizzying speed of 50mph so far 😂

Die meisten, bzw alle sind gar nicht abgeriegelt. Der Tacho hört bei 299 einfach auf. Ne s1000rr fährt trozdem c. A315

Deine läuft gut :-) Meine auch Modell 2006 CBR 1100 XX Schwarz, nach Tacho 311km/h, Laut GPS 304 km/h. Bei meiner anderen Schwarzen Blackbird ist bei 300 km/h Schluss und die von einem Bekannten, Vergaser Modell Baujahr 1999 bei 290 km/h. Die Linke zum Gruss und bleib auf dem Bock ;-)

@@MotoMika Servus habe deine Antwort nie gesehen/bekommen! War ein Grau Import aus Holland, habe sie so gekauft mit ca. 6000 km auf dem Tacho in der Oberpfalz, von einem Motorradfahrer der damals Krebs hatte und dann verstorben ist. Ich kenne noch 3 die eine haben, hänge sie alle ab, kein Witz! Aber jetzt auch nicht mit einem riesen Abstand, sie kommen mir allerdings nicht nach auf der Autobahn. Der von dem ich sie damals gekauft habe, hat eine Menge dran gemacht, Elektronischen Kettenöler aus Holland (ProOiler), Griffheizung, öhlins Gasdruck Stoßdämpfer (für ü 1000 Euro), andere Gabelfedern, Kegellager im Lenk Kopf, K & N Dauerluftfilter (Verschafft dem Motor auch einen satteren Klang), andere Auspuff Anlage aus Italien mit Euro Nummer, klingt richtig satt -nicht aufdringlich, gibt es allerdings nicht mehr. Motoröl kam nie was anderes rein als: Motul 300V Factory Line Road Racing 10W-50. Viel mehr kann ich auch nicht sagen. Außer das die andere XX wo ich vor ein paar Jahren mit dazu gekauft habe auch nicht so spritzig ist wie die wo ich vor langer Zeit in der Oberpfalz gekauft habe. Läuft noch wie am ersten Tag, ich gebe nur Gas wenn mir die Ölanzeige ab ca. 75/80C anzeigt. Viele Grüße aus Franken

@@MotoMika As of yet none. Still saving up money! It will most definitely be the fuel injected model, would like to buy as young as possible. But man this thing flies like rocket-ship, for real! I started on a 2 stroke Aprilia RS250, then had a big V-Twin a RSV1000 for a few years. But this bike is on a whole new level. I need something to ride fast and comfortable through Europe and be able to take my wife with me. The Bird is just perfect! I see your bike has run 70 000 km? Still runs beautifully though!

Grund warum ich meine Double X liebe die fahr ich nur noch ab und zu wegen meiner neuen Fireblade ist eigentlich schade aber wenn ich mal fahre macht es mir mehr spaß als alles andere Sport Tourer zu fahren macht mehr Spaß als zb ein Supersportler zu fahren Es ist viel bequemer und chilliger LG Laura

MotoMika :) naja :) habe keine lust mir eine go pro oder so zu holen :) und mit ein tasten handy kann man schlecht filmen :) ich hasse smart phones und im übrigen ich guck YT und so wennschon über den pc bevor du dich wunderst und außerdem keine lust extra wegen der Aufnahme langsam zu fahren wenn es die Polizei sieht bin ich dann R. I. P :)

I don't know. But in this video I had a touring screen mounted and stock exhaust. Now I have a racing screen and BOS dampers (without catalysator) and it's up to 10km/h quicker :)

Ich würde das so machen: das cockpit auf 1 Greenscreen layer, die Geschwindigkeitsanzeige mit basic auf 1 Greenscreen Hintergrund simulieren, und die Seitenneigung kann man ebenfalls mit magix ändern. 1:12 Eigentlich sind die Bäume im November noch nicht völlig kahl. Man muss es ja mit dem Hochladen auch nicht so eilig haben 0:20 links unten: Warum hat er von 5h28 bis 5h59 gewartet?

Tja, oder: man setzt sich einfach aufs Moped und macht ein Video ;) Das war übrigens wirklich Ende Oktober/Anfang November! Bei dem Versuch um 5h28 hatte ich mich verschaltet :D aber ich wolle das Intro davon haben und den 335i der da abzieht.

i bought the last yearmodel, 2007, in 2013 - i still own it and i dont think i'll ever sell it. there is simply no other bike that is this perfect for me,especially after i gave it a slight tune,the busas ridingstance dosnt suit me,it's to "racey" leaned over the tank, the zzr1400 is simply to big-not as fun on twisty,small roads-feels allmost sluggish on thight roads - no,i'll keep my bird for many,many years to come,and the pure race-bikes like cbr1000,r1,1000rr and so on are no fun at all on longer rides whit passenger , the blackbird is a perfect mix of tourer,sportsbike and allrounder

@@MotoMika then i can strongly recommend the vfr 800 v-tech,a bike i really loved and still miss ,but i upgraded to the bird due to longer travels whit passenger and bags. The vfr lacked in power - i would say that vfr is baby brother to blackboard,they are quite similar in many ways

Streetforce Germany In euope the ZX12R (ZZR12000) was the one and only Superbike that runs over 300km/h in serial condition. All others did nor have enough power or had a build in speedcutter. Maybe it´s different to ther countries outside europe.

Hallo... ich warte schon mit voller Spannung auf das Video mit der Honda CBR 1100XX mit Höchstgeschwindigkeit GPS Messung. Als Tip: Mit original Scheibe ist man schneller besserer cw Wert 😉

@@tripletraple_xx4227 Servus, ja es wurde mittlerweile ein GPS Video aufgenommen in dem 280km/h erreicht wurden. Das Video hat nur einen kleinen Haken, da es nicht so ganz StVO-konform war :D Man muss hier ja gut aufpassen was man hochlädt ;) Ich wollte mir aber demnächst ne Gopro Hero5 kaufen, die hat ja integriertes GPS, das sieht dann besser aus als mit meinem Tomtom vor der Kamera. Ja, die Tourenscheibe war richtig schlecht, damit hatte ich nur 270 geschafft. Jetzt habe ich ne Racingscheibe drauf.

@@Aleksinac144 naja, momentan läufts nicht leider nicht :D Hab mir vor 6 Wochen nen Mittelhandknochen gebrochen und konnte jetzt die ganze Zeit nicht fahren. Ich wollte noch so viele Videos vor dem Winter machen :.( Vor allem auch für meinen neuen Kanal MotoTop. Ich hoffe ich kann dann zumindest an Weihnachten wieder fahren. Nächste Woche kommen die Drähte aus der Hand raus und dann ist erstmal nur Teilbelastung bis Anfang Januar.

is it worth getting out of an F4i for the XX? I'm afraid I regret the weight is much greater and less fun for the weekend explosions. I use little and only a few km. Positive point is the torque and the general power, cruising speed at 3,500 rpm ... so I don't know ... but this bike is on show.

@@MotoMika Thanks for the feedback. My F4i is only 20,000 km away. That's why I'm afraid to sell. I got it going to be a year now in December. It's too young. I think about riding Mayan about two years with her and looking for an immaculate XX like the F4i. I believe that in this stage there will be no regrets, because the 600 will get sick to have to whip the engine to feel its power. I never had a 1000 sports car, but after having the 600RR and the F4i, I believe that the XX would be the same situation, sportiness with a certain comfort and refinement. The 1000RR would be very firm. So I believe that XX is the natural evolution for me. I really appreciate the Hondas of this vintage. Flawless build quality at that time.
