the growl on low rpms is just soo..... it makes my soul happy, and not that many things make my soul happy. it just sounds raw, powerful yet controlled

The CBR650R with its balance of power, weight, ergonomics, and quality is at a level that makes it perfect for what it was built for and is the best in its class. The fact it still has a 4 cylinder engine, and not a twin, is icing on the cake!

@@KrypteiaXi ok you should be right cos I have never ridden that bike. But I was just feeling it shouldn't be that hard to u turn based on my experience of having ridden cbr600rr and z800 (previously) and cb900f (currently), with which I had no issue doing u turns in tight spaces..

@@homegrownluv8106 yes, this bike is more the "new hornet" than a CBR because it don't have an alluminium frame nor a good engine. 1992 CBR 600 had 100hp and alluminium frame with a good battery of carbs. That bike is a better bike than this one in my opinion.

@@MrDenisio77 so then get that one? This bike wasn’t made to be a full on race bike. It’s made to be in the style of a cbr but with the usability and comfort of a cb. For example the powerband is very moderate at low rpms like if you were just cruising but as soon you get it up to 5k all the power comes in. And it’s more comfortable than a cbr600. So idk man. I think it does what’s intended to do just fine. Plus the price point can’t be beat

@@nationalgeo2191 I agree with you but a 4 cilinder engine with less power than a twin cilinder Aprilia Rs660 with an iron frame and more than 200 kg it's not a CBR...at least the new Hornet... Aprilia RS660 also have a good position for the driver and a good power band but when you want to go in a track or in a wide Mountain street you feel more confident with RS than CBR 650 and CBR600RR (the last one is my bike)

5’9..? I’m basically the same little closer to 5’10 and I can flat foot just fine this bike . That’s with a higher preload too on rear shock so doesn’t sag quite as much

You can see that he has very bad slow speed skills. I can easily see that. Keep the clutch 50% in and use 6x throttle. You can then have alot more control and balance with your feet on the pegs
