This guy is an amazing mechanic. He's also a good machinist. Great restoration! Couldn't believe how black that old engine oil was... obviously hadn't been changed in years. I like that the new chain is gold colored... that's a nice touch. Fantastic job! 👍

Great work, respect! Lot of skills! Amazing to watch! It's not a formula1 classic or an e-type.. It's a Honda chaly! And you doing the best. Everything clean, nice colors, everything works fine!! Great job! For me, it was a great pleasure, to watch this video!! ✨👍

The cleanest restoration I’ve seen so far on KZfaq. Just one request If you do painting please do somewhere far from here plantations and of course kids and cattle barn. And please avoid very toxic materials that would harm both people and the Nature. Very very thanks

Restoring an item requires imagination, creativity, patience, skill and tools. Not to mention that it is almost a therapeutic relaxation treatment. I LOVE restorations !! Giving new life to old pieces is extremely pleasurable.

I can't believe he re-used that piston, and didn't open up the engine. I don't think I'd want to trust welded up handlebars either.

This is not a restoration! To restore something means to bring it to original spec's. Then for exaple the hole inside the frame had to be fixed/welded, the chrome had to be redone and not painted, the play on the axle of the brake pedal had to be fixed/welded/milled, the dipstick wouldn't be sanded of but would be replaced, engine wouldn't be painted but polished... Don't get me wrong, the bike looks very good and most of it has been done very well. This is more of a refurbish or a repaint, but not a restauration.

*You did an exceptional job on the restoration!* *From 'Junk' to 'Great Machine!'* ( *This makes me appreciate my little '08 Honda 'Metropolitan' all the more over how flawlessly it performs* ) *Fortunately, it needs nothing, and looks 'Showroom New' despite 11,000-miles on it!* *I keep it inside, safe from thieves and kids with rocks and 'mud-dauber wasps' that make mud-tunnels inside everything*

Of they do it on a car...indeed a felony. But, it's common to do after a restoration of a bike. ( most ppl, simply put a new unit in)

cylinder-piston group needs to be replaced or a cylinder must be bored and a piston of a new repair size installed. scuffing on the piston skirt is a sign of engine overheating. such an engine will not work for a long time
