More than 10 years ago, I would say the difference between the Japanese and Chinese cars would outright be night and day in terms of features, design, performance and reliability. Now that is no longer the case. For me, assuming that I would be in the market to pick & buy a car in this category, for the price difference of P492lk, I would be willing to roll that dice in favor of the underdog. Besides, look all around you, practically everything that we use today is made in China now is it not? The P492K that I get to save by not spending it on the spot since a car is a dead end investment, I can use to make more money.

Civic is civic, pero I would rather go for the DCT ng Empow kesa sa CVT ng Civic, especially for spirited driving. The reason is mabilis bumigay ang CVT pagdating sa high torque figures kesa sa DCT, especially pag mahilig magkabit ng performance mods plus tune.

GAC Fan but correction, the Empow, even the top variant, doesn't have a wireless charger. Which I really think is a ballbuster considering the space alloted for the phone is perfect for a wireless charger.

This current Civic RS is almost the same as the Civic Si trim in the US. The only difference is the tune and transmission, even the interior is the same with the seats and color the only difference. With the wide aftermarket support the Honda has vs these chinese newcomers, I think the Civic Rs is still the best buy between the two. Feature wise they are almost of the same level.

Civic win dahil sa resale value... Dont get me wrong, sa price ng GAC Empow na 1.3mil onti na lng Geely Okavango na yan or may coolray ka na tpos may pangupdate ka pa ng onti... Civic is an icon and marami collectors and civic lovers sa pinas.

Be careful where you put your hard earned money into. Better get something from reputable and reliable Japanese brands than these imitation lemon cars. Buy at your own risk.
